Sylvester's murder will never be solved. The unenviable fate of members of the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group (16 photos) In which house did Sergei Timofeev live

At the end of the 1980s, in connection with the weakening of state power, criminal power grew stronger. Instead of disparate groups, large brigades appear, which are fighting among themselves for a place under the sun in all conceivable and inconceivable ways. The most powerful of them were (and still are) Solntsevo and Orekhov. In the south of Moscow, a new star of the criminal world flares up - Sergey Ivanovich Timofeev, nicknamed Sylvester (or, as his loving subordinates called him - Ivanych).

The star of the criminal world of the 90s was born into a simple family in the village of Klin, Moshensky district, Novgorod region. Having received the specialty of a tractor driver, he went to serve in the army. Having repaid his debt to his homeland, Timofeev moved to Moscow for distribution.

The neon lights of the capital promise a better life, but the hopeless situation pushes the guy to work at two jobs at once - at a construction site during the day and as an instructor in the gym in the evening. He understands the hopelessness and futility of his path. Despondency settles in the heart of Timofeev.

After some time, he converges with the Orekhov punks, or rather with the Ionitsa brigade and works with thimblers at the Belgrade department store, where he meets the Kleshchenko brothers (Uzbeks). It should be noted that at that time the brigade had a conflict with local Azerbaijanis. Having lost in thimbles, and not wanting to pay, the Azerbaijani behaves defiantly, for which he "gets hit on the head." In the evening, about 80 angry compatriots of the offended gather near the department store. Timofeev and the guys can barely get away from the angry crowd of Azerbaijanis. Just after this incident, Sergei Timofeev comes to the attention of law enforcement agencies. It should be noted that, both today and then, the policy of appeasing and supporting the southern peoples led to the dominance of emigrants in Moscow, which was not to the liking of the future leader of the Orekhovskys.

In 1989, Timofeev got into Matrosskaya Tishina on suspicion of extorting money from the Niva cooperative. Mikhailov (Mikhas), Averin, Chistyakov are also involved in the case. After serving three years in colony No. 100 of the Tver region, Timofeev is released and becomes the full leader of the Orekhovskaya group.

The first thing Timofeev does is to unite the disparate brigades into one common combat vehicle under the flag of the struggle against the Caucasians. Timofeev begins to enjoy unquestioned authority among the guys and has power over them. After that, the Orekhovskys can no longer be stopped!

To solve power issues, Sylvester takes under his wing the "Kurgan" under the leadership of Oleg Nelyubin (Nelyub). It should also be noted that the group closely cooperates with the Medvedkovskaya brigade, which is under the leadership of the former KGB officer Grigory Gusyatinsky (Grisha Severny). I would like to add that sometimes it is rather problematic to draw a clear line and say who exactly belongs to which group. Often it is simply impossible to separate Solntsevo from Orekhov's, and Orekhov's from Medvedkov's.

In the early 90s, Sylvester meets the financier Lerner, who actually becomes the treasurer of the group and with his help, scams in the banking sector are scrolled. Lerner introduces Sylvester to his secretary Olga Zhlobinskaya, after which Sylvester enters into a fictitious marriage with her and receives Israeli citizenship.

After the death of the leaders, the Grisha of the North group is headed by the Pylev brothers and Osya Butorin.

Members

"Sylvester". Timofeev Sergey Ivanovich.

Grisha Severny. Grigory Gusyatinsky 1959-1995.
Former KGB officer. He worked on a secret underground metro line. Founder of the Medvedkovskaya organized criminal group. In 1992, through Kultik (Ananyevsky), he converges with Sylvester. Shot dead in 1992 in Kyiv by his subordinate Lesha the Soldier out of fear for the life of his girlfriend. And also because of suspicions of giving evidence (full breakdown by grouping) to police officers during a short arrest.

"Seryozha Beard". Kruglov Sergey Viktorovich 06/05/1959-buried 04/03/1994.
Kruglov was a member of Sylvester's inner circle and was his friend. Seryozha Beard's brigade was involved in solving various security issues. Kruglov's brigade consisted of about 300 militants. The backbone of the brigade consisted of former repeat offenders. The brigade also tried to control the drug market, having received approval from Yaponchik and $ 400 million in addition. But in 1993, while having dinner with Sylvester, Kruglov urgently left on business, warning that he would return soon. But he did not return either in 10 minutes or in half an hour. The half-decomposed corpse was found only six months later and is identified by the shoes (which is most likely true, because the exact date of death is not indicated on the tombstone - it says "buried"). According to rumors, the story of Kruglov's death was staged, because. after some time, Kruglov will appear in Moscow again alive and unharmed.

"Vlas". Dmitry Vlasov.
By profession a fireman (Ivanovo fire school). In 1993 he received 8 months in prison for possession of a weapon. After his release, he becomes the bodyguard of the Loser. After a successful assassination attempt on the boss, Vlas has been guarding the Dvoechnik's ward for a whole week from a second assassination attempt on him with an ultrasound machine. Vlas is charged with two murders and attempted murder. He avenged the death of Uzbek Jr. (Alexander Kleshchenko), having calculated and sent two killers to the next world. He also killed Yuri Polshchikov, suspecting the latter of the murder of Uzbek Jr. Having lit up at the station when buying a train ticket on the passport, he was tied up by police officers. Currently serving a sentence.

"Kalistrat". Oleg Grigorievich Kalistratov 1964-1993.
Former boxer and part-time Orekhov authority. He was shot dead along with his friend Shishkin (Oleg Igorevich Shishkin) at the Bereg restaurant. The murder of Kalistrat was the revenge of the Kleshchenko brothers for the death of their comrade Baklanov.

"Dispatcher". Igor Abramov 1964-1993.
Physical education teacher at school 998 in the city of Moscow, Brateevo district. He was shot in the Kashirskoye cafe on February 5, 1993. His brigade included Elephant, Korshun, Kroshan, Fireman, Seryoga-Nose.

"Fairy tale". Victor Dmitrievich Komakhin 1965-1995.
Orekhovsky authority. He fell victim to internal squabbles for power after the death of Sylvester. He received the nickname "Skazka" after a forceful action (shelling of an entrepreneur) near the "Skazka" cafe. He was a kind and generous person.

"Carp". Dmitry Karpovich.
Lived on Generala Belov Street, 33/19. Unfortunately there is not much information on this person. He appeared on a video where the Orekhovskaya lads are celebrating Batozsky's birthday.

CHISTYAKOV SERGEY ANATOLYEVICH, born in 1957 (35 years)

A stray bullet hit the man in the head. With an intracranial gunshot wound, he was urgently taken to the Institute. Sklifosofsky, but on the way, at 23-00 Sergei Chistyakov died. Relatives were given only part of the things, destroying the rest before the end of the investigation. In Moscow, the deceased left behind elderly parents, a widow and an orphan son born in 1987. In October 1988, Chistyakov, together with Timofeev (Sylvester), Ogloblin, Bendov, was extorting money from the Niva cooperative. It is possible that he was the defender of the House of Soviets. Perhaps, and just onlookers. But he did not die in a criminal showdown, but at the hands of Vityaz during a mass execution near the Ostankino television center on October 3, 1993.

Filippov Sergey Yurievich(04/03/1973 - 11/23/1997) An active participant in the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group, he was related to the Vetoshkin brigade. Football player of the Zvezda team, we are on trial for a year and 6 months for fraud (theft of clothes from the wardrobe).

In the course of the investigation that began, law enforcement officers suggested that the militants would probably try to crack down on the woman who had survived the stabbing, and her house on Orekhovy Boulevard was taken under surveillance. At the beginning of the eighth, the law enforcement officers who were on duty noticed a light "eight" that stopped at the house on Orekhovy. The two men inside were obviously waiting for someone. When the law enforcement officers approached the car to check the documents of the arrivals, the Zhiguli passenger suddenly fired a pistol at the policemen. The detectives had no choice but to return fire to kill from service Kalashnikov assault rifles. As it turned out later, active members of the Orekhovskaya criminal group Sergey Filipov and Alexei Sokolov were killed. During the search they found TT pistols.

Vorotnikov Vadim Nikolaevich Member of one of the Orekhov gangs. Shot with five shots near the house Medikov Street, 1/1 where he rented an apartment. On the body of the corpse was a pager from which they learned that someone had invited the owner to visit in the evening. While the forensic experts examined the corpse, several more messages came to the pager.

Video about Orekhovsky

Mafia lawyer Karyshev about Sylvester:

Cemetery. Heroes of the 90s. Orehovskie:

A video with Sylvester (at 3.30 Sylvester briefly appears in the window) is shown in the film Malina Krasnaya 90s "Blood Brothers"

The Khovanskoye cemetery is located near Moscow and adjoins the remote metropolitan area Solntsev, which until recently was considered a suburb of Moscow. The Khovanskoye cemetery is the largest cemetery in Europe, but it is not difficult to find the alley where the leaders of the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group are buried. It is located on a new section of the cemetery. The fact that " godfathers” of the criminal south of Moscow are buried here, in my opinion, it transparently hints at a close connection with the famous Solntsevo “brothers”, at their common criminal roots. Indeed, sometimes the relationships of individuals are so intertwined that it is difficult to understand which of them is "Orekhov" and which is "Solntsevo". It is curious that in almost all the graves, the front sides of the tombstones and busts are turned with their backs to the pedestrian alley, thereby emphasizing the shady, criminal way of life of the deceased. It remains to be added that all other "Orekhovites" are buried at the Vvedensky, Danilovsky, Kotlyakovsky and Shcherbinsky cemeteries.

Anticipating your appropriate sarcastic grins about pompous monuments on the churchyard, Orthodox symbols, I want to remind you that for many decades on Red Square in his Mausoleum lies a man who managed to ruin and destroy, for example, hard-working peasants in the name of utopian ideals and personal ambitions. As a gift from grateful descendants, the author of the cry "Take away and divide!" received a permanent residence permit at the foot of the Kremlin, and the untimely peace of his homies, densely packed in the Kremlin wall, is guarded day and night by sentries. It seems that almost no one cares: they are already used to it. What happens, dear comrades? He killed ten - a bandit and a murderer, but killed millions - a great leader and teacher?

As an addition to the video, in which Valery Karyshev somehow explains who is who in the Orekhov mafia:

Sergei Ivanovich Timofeev (1955-1994), nicknamed Sylvester, does not need a special introduction. As a matter of fact, this entire site is devoted to his activities.

Grigory Evgenievich Gusyatinsky (1959-1995) - founder of the Medvedkovskaya organized criminal group. In the early nineties, during the life of Sylvester, the group did not play a very independent role, but was a kind of North Moscow branch of the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group. Gusyatinsky was involved in all sorts of delicate cases, such as organizing the high-profile murder of Otari Kvantrishvili. When Sylvester was blown up in September 1994, Gusyatinsky again led the Medvedkov group, but not for long. In January 1995, in Kyiv, Grisha was shot dead by his subordinate - a hired killer Alexei Sherstobitov, nicknamed Lesha Soldier, the direct executor of the order for Kvantrishvili. Apparently, Sherstobitov was afraid that he knew too much about the biography of the Sylvester feeder and therefore decided to fix the problem. Speaking about the personality of Gusyatinsky, for some reason the words of the same Lesha Soldat are recalled about how Gusyatinsky ordered his subordinates to be killed for the slightest mistake. So, for example, he ordered one to be killed for a champagne cork that got into him, and the other for refusing to carry his wife's bag. Since it is customary to say good or nothing about the dead, we will keep silent.

Stella on the graves of a prominent member of the group, Alexander Garishin, nicknamed Sasha Ryzhy (he did not like his other nickname - Screw - he did not like), who was part of Sylvester's inner circle from the moment he was released from Tver correctional colony No. 1 (in the jargon "weaving"), and his younger comrade Vladimir Baklanov (1968-1996) nicknamed Cucumber.

Sergei Taraskin (1951-1992), wrestling coach of the Kuntsevo sports school, a kind of debutant on the alley of "heroes", occupied a prominent place in the brigade of Sergei Kruglov, nicknamed Serezha Boroda, who in turn was a personal friend of Sylvester. It is known that the latter in the seventies was engaged in karate in that sports school, and therefore he probably knew Taraskin. Other signs testify to this: Timofeev's grave is adjacent to Taraskin's grave, and those who buried Sylvester - and he was the third in a row in the alley - for some reason placed authority right next to Taraskin, and not somewhere else.

Sergei Taraskin died in the famous massacre in Butovo on May 6, 1992, when several groups near Moscow and Moscow came together to dismantle at once: on the one hand, the Balashikha group (leader German Starostin, born in 1963, nickname Gera), on the other hand, the Podolsk group ( leader Sergei Lalakin, born in 1955, nicknamed Luchok), Chekhov (leader Nikolai Pavlinov, born in 1957, nicknamed Pavlin), as well as three Moscow groups - Anton, Petrik and Serezha Beards.

From operational information: “The funeral of Taraskin took place at the Khovansky cemetery. All members of the Beard group gathered. The participants in the gathering were armed with short-barreled machine guns. The militants who were on duty at the entrances reported on the radio about the appearance of strangers. Thieves in law and authorities arrived at the cemetery. They recommended to stop the bloodshed and decide peacefully. The meeting participants agreed, but Starostin, the leader of the Balashikhas, and his closest connection, Sukhoi, as well as the Lyubertsy leaders Sam and Mani who supported them, were sentenced to death. Serezha Boroda took over the execution of the action.

The name of Taraskin is still well known among professional athletes. On December 12-14, 2014, in the Sports Complex of the Olympic Village - 80 in Moscow, an open All-Russian tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling was held, dedicated to the memory of the master of sports of the USSR Sergey Taraskin.

Sergei Vladimirovich Kotov, nicknamed Kot, was among the authoritative people of the Orekhov group, he personally knew Sergei Ivanovich Timofeev. Andrei Viktorovich Mikhailov, nicknamed Fantik, was a member of the brigade from 1993 to 1996, and when the latter was killed, he began working with the Cat.

On March 1, 1997, Kotov and Mikhailov went to a regular meeting, apparently with someone they knew well and, leaving their wives in a restaurant, expected to return in an hour, but disappeared. Approximately five days later, the car in which they left (an armored Mercedes 140) was found in one of the parking lots with broken bulletproof glass. The guys were found a week later in the forest, it seems, on the fortieth kilometer of the Kyiv highway ...

Alexander Loginov, nicknamed Bull (1977-2001), was seen in the company of Igor Smirnov (Bear), and it seems that he was somehow involved in, since he was buried nearby. Bulya was not taken by a bullet, but by drugs. At the beginning of the 2000s, the shooting in Orekhovo-Borisovo generally subsided.

Nikolai Pavlovich Vetoshkin (1961-1998) was a member of Sylvester's inner circle, but was attracted by him mainly for "dirty" work. They met back in the eighties, when Vetoshkin worked as a loader in an Orekhov store and had the opportunity to get alcohol during Gorbachev's anti-alcohol campaign.

After the assassination of the chief, a real war broke out in the south of Moscow; once close-knit group began to split into separate brigades, one of which was headed by Vetoshkin. When they shot the district authority Dvoechnik, in 1996-1998. Vetoshkin actually became the main bandit of the southern outskirts of Moscow. Since Nikolai Palych often resorted to the traditional means of resolving disputes, namely shooting, by the end of the decade he managed to make a lot of enemies. Extraordinary precautions and an armored Mercedes did not save him from the natural end - execution from a Kalashnikov assault rifle.

Vladislav Albertovich Gorpishchenko, nicknamed Garp (1965-1994). Nikolai Modestov: “... One of the promising fighters, Garpishchenko (nicknamed Garp), was found dead near his own apartment. The killer fired the only headshot from the PM...” Garp was killed while Sylvester was still alive, in August 1994, and he became the second in the alley after Taraskin.

Sergei Nikolaevich Volodin (1969-1996), nicknamed the Dragon, was killed under circumstances unknown to me. According to one version, the “Kurgans” dealt with him for the debts of Sergei Ivanovich. It is possible that Alexander Solonik was the killer.

Sergei Dmitrievich Ananievsky (1962-1996), nicknamed Kultik, Honored Trainer of Russia in powerlifting (power triathlon), champion of the USSR in 1991, the first president of the Powerlifting Federation in Russia and concurrently ... Orekhov's authority.

Ananievsky is more often mentioned as the mastermind behind the assassination of Otari Kvantrishvili. He was shot during a showdown for power that followed the explosion of Sylvester, in early March 1996, near the US Embassy on Novinsky Boulevard. According to one version, the murder was committed by "Kurgan".

The graves of Volodin and Ananyevsky are united, which speaks of the joint affairs of the deceased and, possibly, friendship.

A common story for the 1990s: the parents of the "brothers" outlived their children, sometimes for decades.

In September last year, a Mercedes-600 was blown up in the center of Moscow. A disfigured corpse was found in the interior of a car that had burned down after the explosion. A few days later, the detectives of the Moscow criminal investigation department announced that the well-known leader of the Orekhov group Sylvester (in the world Sergey Timofeev) had been killed.

The body was solemnly buried at the Khovansky cemetery. Over 300 thieves in law and authorities saw off Sylvester on his last journey. And recently, rumors spread around Moscow that Sergei Timofeev was alive. Sylvester was allegedly seen in Odessa, in the company of another authority, nicknamed the Painting (by the way, they also tried to blow him up), and then met in Moscow and Vienna. Even MUR employees say that Criminal authority rather alive than dead. Now they recall that in the crowd surrounding the blown up Mercedes, they saw a man who looked like Sylvester. He allegedly looked at the policemen and smiled. The case of the murder of Sergei Timofeev is still being investigated by the Tver Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office.

Tractor driver fed Arbat prostitutes

Sergey Timofeev was born on July 18, 1955 in the remote village of Klin, Novgorod Region. After school he worked on a collective farm as a tractor driver. People who knew Timofeev claim that he was a great driver and loved to do it. In the army, Timofeev served in a sports company. The future authority moved to Moscow according to the limit in 1975.

He registered in one of the Orekhovo-Borisov hostels and worked as a sports instructor in the housing and communal services department of Glavmosstroy. At that time, Timofeev could often be found at the Arbat restaurant. He was still a harmless sucker, but he met Arbat prostitutes, and later they paid tribute to him. Among the local punks, he was nicknamed Seryozha of Novgorod.

In the early 80s, Serezha got along with the punks from Orekhovo-Borisovo and joined the gang of the now unknown recidivist Ionitsa. Timofeev soldered the lads (Ionitsa subsequently drank himself and retired). But Seryozha himself did not drink in principle and worked hard in the "rocking chair". Initially, like many metropolitan teams, it existed at the expense of thimblers and gamblers. Timofeev was also taken to work. Soon Seryozha Novgorodsky succeeded, picked up the Orekhovskys for himself and turned into an authoritative Sylvester (he received such a nickname because he looked like Sylvester Stallone).

His personal life has also changed. Timofeev divorced his wife Lyubov (he lived with her for 7 years and had two children from her). And he married a certain Olga Zhlobinskaya. A few years later, Timofeev took her last name, and the couple applied to leave for Israel. But later she stated that the marriage was fictitious.

The criminal business flourished. Having subjugated the cheaters in the South and South-West of Moscow, the Orekhovskys took over several cooperatives for repairing cars and selling spare parts. Soon, the Orekhovo, Kerch and Zagorye restaurants came under their control. In 1989, when the "Slavic" teams began conflicts with the Chechen ones, the Orekhov group found allies in the person of the Solntsevo and "Lenin" bandits.

The Leninskys were commanded by a native of the Solntsevskaya brigade, a former firefighter Boris Antonov (nicknamed Borya-Anton). In one of the showdowns with the Chechens, which took place in the Havana restaurant, Borya lost his eye. After that, Antonov got a new nickname - Cyclops.

Soon Sylvester and Cyclops became friends. They were united by hatred for Caucasians and sports. Cyclops and Sylvester were actively engaged in martial arts. It is interesting that even when Antonov was a fireman, one of the future police generals visited the gym with him (his last name has not yet been disclosed). When he took a high post, the son of this policeman got into the Cyclops brigade. By the way, this son was once under investigation in the case of robbery and infliction of grievous bodily harm to an employee of the internal affairs bodies.

By mid-1989, Sylvester, in addition to Orekhov, held the odd side of Leninsky Prospekt. The even one belonged to Bore-Anton-Cyclops. In the fall of that year, employees of the Russian Ministry of Security and the MUR took Sylvester, Avera (one of the leaders of the Solntsevo group) for racketeering. Sylvester spent two years under investigation and was released in 1991, since, according to a court verdict, he served his term in a pre-trial detention center.

By that time, significant changes had taken place in Sylvester's brigade. Left without a leader, some of Timofeev's people temporarily joined the Solntsevo team. When Sylvester came out, his brigade gathered again. In addition, his people brought with them part of Solntsevo.

Sylvester's relations with Solntsevo became cooler: Timofeev did not like the fact that his former allies made peace with Chechen groups. Even left without powerful support from Solntsevo, Sylvester successfully carries out several showdowns with the Chechens in the area of Tsaritsinskiye Ponds and gains control of Sevastopol Avenue.

After that, Sylvester began to actively engage in legal business, for which he registered a network of offshore companies in Cyprus. According to some reports, he invested his group's money in Russian oil companies. Timofeev carried out several commercial projects with the reputable athlete Otari Kvantrishvili. In addition, Sylvester converges with such thieves and authorities as Painting, Petrik, Zakhar, Tsirul and Yaponchik. All of them were again united by the rejection of the “wild Caucasus” that invaded Moscow.

Timofeev's Orekhovskaya brigade actively cooperates with the Galyanovsky, "Lenin" and Tagansky bandits, and Sylvester enjoys undeniable authority in these groups. According to some reports, at that time several "Slavic" thieves offered Sylvester to become a thief in law, but for some unknown reason he refused. By the way, Sylvester's friend Bore-Anton was denied the coronation, because he had previously worked in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Nevertheless, Timofeev was listened to at all thieves' gatherings.

In April 1993, near the sports complex "Olympic" was shot dead (Valery Dlukach). According to some reports, Sylvester was also directly involved in his murder. The murder of Globus was allegedly the result of a showdown related to the oil business. Interestingly, shortly after this murder, a meeting of thieves in Podolsk recognized the liquidation of the Globe as correct. However, the friends of the deceased decided to take revenge on the killers.

Sylvester's brigade suffers tangible losses. Lenya Kleshch, who started with Timofeev in the Orekhov team, was killed. After some time, a corpse is found in the Moscow River, in which they identify the leader of the Galyanovo group, Sergei Boroda (relatives identified him by his shoes).

Sylvester's group also strikes back. In January 1994, on the Volokolamsk Highway, the car of the authority of Bobon (Vladislav Vanner), an associate of Globus, was shot. Bobon and his driver were killed, but Vanner's young son, who was with them, was not injured. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Bobon's people swore to destroy Sylvester.

Interestingly, the police consider the murders of Globus and Bobon solved. In October last year, during a police operation on the Petrovsky-Razumovsky market, the perpetrator of the murders, a 34-year-old resident of Kurgan, was detained. His detention cost the lives of four policemen. Three more were wounded. According to the detainee, he himself carried out the liquidation of Globus and Bobon by order of criminal structures. However, it is possible that the police could simply hang the liquidation of authorities on this person (in order to increase disclosure), since the detainee has nothing to lose anyway - he will be shot.

According to the police, at the end of 1993 Timofeev's brigade took control of the Moscow Trade Bank. The group introduced its own people into the management of the bank, and Sylvester's wife, Olga Zhlobinskaya, became the chairman of the bank's board.

Then Sylvester's people began to receive loans from various branches of the Savings Bank of Russia and the Moscow Savings Bank, as well as from a number of commercial banks. In total, Sylvester's people received loans from 20 banks. Received cash received, however, not to the official account of Mostorgbank, but to various accounts opened by Sylvester's accomplices in a number of other banks. After that, the money was transferred to the accounts of private firms "International financial group‘Yustinlev Inc’, ‘Concord’, ‘Arealinstrakh’, whose leaders, according to operational data, also belonged to Sylvester’s brigade or were under its roof.

Then the amounts were converted and transferred under fictitious contracts to Israel and Switzerland to the accounts of Seven Starts Ltd. and SitAG. It is noteworthy that the head of "Seven starts Ltd." is Grigory Lerner, who in the fall of 1993 was put on the federal wanted list for embezzlement and fraud. By the way, in 1990, the former general director of the LOMOS Consortium, Grigory Lerner, was suspected of embezzling 40 million rubles, but fled from the police in Switzerland. However, in the same year, at the request of law enforcement agencies, he was extradited to Russia.

In 1992, he was released from prison on bail, and the charges against him were dropped. Since April 1994, the chief of Sit AG, Sergey Smolyanitsky, has also been on the federal wanted list. In 1993, as head of Mass Information Communications LLP, he stole more than 6.5 billion rubles. According to the police, in total, more than 18 billion rubles were stolen by the fraudster in this way.

And on March 16, 1994, Mostorgbank sold two of its bills of 500 million rubles each to the Automobile All-Russian Alliance with a maturity date of April 6 of the same year. However, the bills were not repaid, and the people who signed an agreement with AVVA on behalf of Mostorgbank disappeared.

A billion rubles was converted by fraudsters in one of the banks and also transferred under a fictitious contract to Israel. According to the police, the AVVA security service tried to find the stolen money. They managed to contact one of the organizers of the fraud, in the recent past, an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Defense Ministry. He promised to return the money, but only if the AVVA management did not turn to law enforcement agencies.

Boris Berezovsky

However, according to some reports, Boris Berezovsky nevertheless decided to report to the police. Moscow regional government on organized crime reported that a meeting with the general director of AVVA was scheduled at the RUOP office on Shabolovka on 6 June. However, due to the busyness of the businessman, it was rescheduled for the next day. And on June 7, an attempt was made on Berezovsky.

Interestingly, the employees of the RUOP received information about the terrorist act at the moment when they were waiting for the entrepreneur to arrive. Three days after the failed assassination attempt, money with interest (a total of 1.2 billion rubles) was transferred to the settlement account of the Automobile All-Russian Alliance.

On June 14, several participants in the theft of loans, including Zhlobinskaya, were detained by employees of the Moscow RUOP, but three days later the investigators for some reason released them on bail. Their further fate is unknown. According to some reports, they left for Israel. In any case, as the police established, all the detainees had foreign passports with open visas to this country.

Employees of the Moscow city prosecutor's office investigating the attempt on Boris Berezovsky reported that many thieves in law and authorities, including Sylvester, appeared on the lists of suspects in organizing a terrorist act. However, it was not possible to prove his involvement in the assassination attempt.

According to AVVA Financial Director Mikhail Antonov, last spring the alliance actually purchased two promissory notes from Mostorgbank. When they came due, the persons who sold the bills asked to defer payments, citing financial difficulties. As a result, the money was returned after lengthy negotiations. Berezovsky himself did not directly participate in the negotiations, but followed their progress. As Mr. Antonov noted, the head of the alliance had no reason to apply to law enforcement agencies, especially RUOP.

Mostorgbank, according to the Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region, in September 1994 was deprived of a license for the right to conduct banking activities. The case of Mostorgbank is now being investigated by the investigative department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Moscow.

September 13 at 19.05 in the center of Moscow near the house 46 on 3rd Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, a powerful bomb was detonated. The explosion occurred in a brand new Mercedes-600. After the explosion, the car caught fire. From the wreckage, firefighters and policemen removed the charred corpse. The documents in the pockets of his clothes were burned, and several business cards and customs declarations were found in a bag found in the cabin. Among them are a business card and a declaration addressed to the manager Sergei Zhlobinsky (Sylvester's new surname). According to employees of the Tver Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office investigating the explosion on Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, the identity of the deceased was established by business card, declarations and jaws. Investigators contacted Sylvester's US-based dentist. The fillings and teeth of the deceased were described to him, and the doctor recognized his work.

Subsequently, the corpse of Sylvester was identified by his older brother Vladimir, a village tractor driver. During the identification, he burst into tears and said, “What are you, Seryoga, I told you: stop this business and we will collect mushrooms in the village.” The authority was buried, and his killers have not yet been detained.

As prosecutors said, some time after the funeral, rumors spread around Moscow that Sylvester was alive. The prosecutor's office believes that these are nothing more than rumors and they are beneficial not only to the brigade of authority, which still uses his name, but also to those commercial structures that were under the roof of Sylvester. In other law enforcement agencies, in particular in the MUR and RUOP, there is an opinion that the authority is actually alive, and his death is just a clever trick. Sylvester needed this in order, firstly, to cover up the traces that he left in a number of criminal cases. And secondly, to save his life: the people of Globus and Bobon intended to deal with him.

Police officers do not exclude the possibility that Timofeev, who has several large firms in European countries and real estate (in particular, in Tel Aviv, Sylvester owned a luxurious mansion in a prestigious area), he decided to simply retire. And recently, the police received information from their agents in the criminal environment that Sylvester came to Odessa, where he met with a thief in law, nicknamed Painting. They also saw him in the company of other thieves in Moscow, Tambov and Cyprus.

The bandits themselves claim that he lives in Vienna. Rumors about the "resurrection" of Sylvester became all the more plausible after Timofeev's friend Sergey Boroda, allegedly killed in January last year, showed up. After his “death”, he actually left for Latin America on fake documents, and when his enemies almost forgot about him, he reappeared in Moscow.

Sergei Ivanovich Timofeev

Place of birth: Klin, Borovichi district, Novgorod region

Citizenship: Russia, Israel

Place of death: Moscow, Marshal Zakharov street

Spouse: Olga Zhlobinskaya

Born on July 18, 1955 in the village of Klin, Borovichi District, Novgorod Region. After leaving school, he worked as a tractor driver on a collective farm.

In 1975 he moved to Moscow, where he began working as a sports instructor in the housing and communal services department of Glavmosstroy.

In the early 1980s, he joined the criminal gang of a recidivist Ionitsa from Orekhovo-Borisovo. Gradually, Timofeev gained more and more influence in the group.

By the end of the 1980s, the Orekhovskaya group took control of cheaters in the South and South-West of Moscow, several cooperatives for car repair and the sale of spare parts, as well as several restaurants. Together with the "Solntsevskaya" he protected thimblers and cheats near the stores "Belgrade", "Leipzig", "Electronics", "Polish Fashion".

In 1989, he was arrested on charges of extortion, was sentenced to three years in prison in a high security colony.

Grigory Lerner, who introduced Timofeev to his future wife, noted:

“When I opened the first cooperative in 1987, the Orekhovskys ran into me. After two hours of communication, Sergei Ivanovich and I became friends. I had a very warm relationship with him. I did not pay him any money and did not give him any shares in the business. Sometimes I consulted merchants at his request, that's our whole business.

In 1992 he married Olga Zhlobinskaya and received Israeli citizenship. Later Olga Zhlobinskaya headed the Moscow Trade Bank, where in 1994 the commercial structure Boris Berezovsky Automotive All-Russian Alliance placed funds. The bank delayed the payment of money to Berezovsky.

By 1994, Sylvester came into conflict with a significant part of other groups in Moscow, including ethnic ones. He took control of the banks one by one, eliminating anyone who stood in his way. Timofeev was also interested in the oil business.

As a result, he had a conflict with the "authoritative" head of the Party of Athletes of Russia Otari Kvantrishvili. They did not share the Tuapse refinery, and on April 5, 1994, Kvantrishvili was shot dead by a sniper. Now investigators know that this high-profile murder was organized by order of Sylvester Sergei Butorin ("axis"), and performed Alexey Sherstobitov("Lyosha-soldier").

On June 7, 1994, a mined car was blown up on Novokuznetskaya Street near the LogoVAZ building, at the moment when Berezovsky. As a result of the explosion, his driver died, Berezovsky himself was injured. The attempt on Berezovsky caused a resonance in the media, President Yeltsin announced "criminal lawlessness in Russia", and soon the Moscow Trade Bank returned the funds to Berezovsky.

On June 14, Olga Zhlobinskaya and several people from Timofeev's criminal gang were detained by the Moscow RUBOP. On June 17, a bomb exploded in the office of United Bank, the main shareholder of which was LogoVaz.

September 13, 1994 Timofeev died on the spot in a Mercedes, which was blown up by a radio-controlled device near the bank building on Marshal Zakharov Street, 12.k.4 Moscow.

According to the memoirs of one of Sylvester's closest associates, the bomb could have been planted in the car when it was in the car wash. According to FSB experts, the mass of a TNT charge attached by a magnet to the bottom of the car was 400 grams. The explosion occurred as soon as Sylvester got into the car and started talking on the phone. The body of the cell phone was thrown back by the blast wave by 11 meters.

Timofeev's grave is located in Moscow at the Khovansky cemetery.

Fifth power

Larisa KISLINSKAYA, columnist "Top Secret"

There are four powers in Russia: executive, legislative, judicial, informational. But the main thing is the fifth power. The power of crime over society and the state, which crushed the four previous ones. The most authoritarian and the most popular: she and her leading characters are the main characters of the front pages of all newspapers without exception, television and film screens, most parliamentary hearings and international conferences. They are not just heroes, but the masters of an entire empire. Evil empires.

But, despite the publicity, this power is the most mysterious. Its leaders and fighters, not tempted by knowledge, sacredly honor the basic law of the Italian "goat nostra" - the law of "omerta" (silence). Many well-known "generals of the underworld" have long been sent to another world, but only now, when some fighters of the "death battalions" have appeared before the court, we can find out the names of their killers. Only now we can say that the legendary Alexander Solonik, Sasha of Macedon, is not the “number one killer”, they met more abruptly.

This year, the Moscow City Court sentenced several members of the Bauman, Novokuznetsk and Kursk organized criminal groups to long terms of imprisonment and began hearing the Orekhovsky case. In the district military court - the case of the Golyanovskys. The Medvedkovsky case is on the way. My story today is about three organized crime groups associated with such famous personalities like Sylvester and Solonik. These are "Kurgan", "Orekhov" and "Medvedkov".

Seryozha Novgorodsky

From operational help. Sergey Timofey c, born in 1955.

Former tractor driver from the Novgorod region. Nicknames - Sylvester and Seryozha Novgorodsky. The leader of the Orekhovskaya organized crime group, formed in Moscow from thimble thieves, apartment thieves and car thieves, former athletes. He became famous for his intransigence towards Caucasians, ambitiousness, he tried to lead all Slavic groups. Together with Solntsevo, he took care of thimblers at the Polskaya Moda, Leipzig, Electronics, and Belgrade stores.

At the end of 1989, he was arrested on charges of extortion. According to the verdict of the court, he received three years in prison in a penal colony. In 1992, he married and applied for citizenship in Israel under the name of his wife Olga Zhlobinskaya.

September 13, 1994 at 19.00 at house number 50 on 3rd Tverskaya-Yamskaya was blown up in his "Mercedes-600" using a radio-controlled device equivalent to 400 grams of TNT.

I managed to meet Timofeev in December 1989 in the temporary detention center at 38 Petrovka, when he was detained on charges of extortion along with the brothers Averin, Mikhailov, Lyustarnov, Astashkin and Artemov. At that time the legendary Sylvester looked like in the rare photo I published, a simple guy over a glass of beer. Nothing formidable: sweatpants with bubbles on the knees, hands used to hard physical labor.

“Do you, girl, like that in any restaurant - wherever you go - there are only Caucasians? Do you like that the Chechens have blossomed and are dictating their will here?” To be honest, I didn't like it. “If the opera will let me go for a while, I will arrange a walk around Caucasian Moscow for you,” Timofeev promised. They didn't let go. Later, in MK, I read in Andrey Yakhontov's notes about his meeting with Sylvester in Israel. Timofeev asked if Yakhontov knew me. Maybe he remembered the promise? ..

Murder case Sergei Timofeev, which was identified only by well-preserved dentures made in Israel, at first became another "hanging". Although there were many versions of its elimination. One of them was associated with the ubiquitous Boris Berezovsky.

In 1993, an interesting triangle formed: Grigory Lerner, who introduced Sylvester to his future wife Olga, is a think tank; Olga herself is a figurehead for adventures, Timofeev-Zhlobinsky- reliable and formidable "roof". In the same year, Olga Zhlobinskaya headed the "Moscow Trade Bank" ("MTB"), which almost "threw" Boris Abramovich and the ABVA company he heads.

Many operatives believe that the first blow was delivered to Berezovsky - on June 7, an Opel parked there was blown up on Novokuznetskaya Street near the LogoVAZ reception house. It was blown up at the moment when Berezovsky was driving by in his Mercedes. The driver died, and BAB received several shrapnel wounds and burns on his hands.

Soon MTB's debt to ABBA was returned. But on June 14, Olga Zhlobinskaya and several people from Sylvester's organized crime group were detained by employees of the Moscow RUBOP. In response, on June 17, an explosion occurred in the office of United Bank, the leading shareholder of which is LogoVAZ. Boris Abramovich in hysterics - between him and Sylvester war is brewing.

This is followed by the explosion of the Mercedes, in which on September 13 Timofeev. A retaliatory strike for the explosion on Novokuznetskaya? But one way or another, Boris Abramovich, who shouted the loudest about retribution in June, refuses to cooperate with the investigation in September.

The king is dead. Long live the king? Who could become him after elimination Sylvester, the leader and teacher of unknown guys from the provincial Kurgan, who, under his leadership, formed one of the most cruel and formidable gangs? She has hundreds of assassinations on her account, including well-known thieves in law, leaders and "authorities", big businessmen. "Kurgan" in the end eliminated their boss. Young wolves matured. In addition, they were not satisfied with the “fees” that Sylvester allocated to them for a long time.

"Kurgan"

They appeared in Moscow in the early 90s. In his native city, which, like the whole country, embarked on the path of transition from socialism to capitalism, there were no jobs for young, strong guys. But she was found in the capital. "Kurgan" became the "Sonderkommando" of Sylvester, who started the war with the Bauman organized criminal group.

To Sylvester about two dozen "Kurgans" got over. With them came the later famous Alexander Solonik. True, he always kept a little aloof from fellow countrymen. The first task that the "Kurgans" successfully completed was the murder of the leaders of the "Bauman": "thief in law" Valery Dlugacha nicknamed globe and "authority" Vyacheslav Vanner nicknamed Bobon.

Later, after death Sylvester, "Kurgan" staged a demonstrative execution of "Bauman" "opponents", as four fellow countrymen from Kuzbass were killed in the next battle. "Kurgan" tracked down the enemy's car and drove after it. Near the Matrossky bridge, the killers opened heavy fire - the driver and passengers died on the spot. Having finished the job, the bandits doused with gasoline and burned their Volga. Everything happened not far from the pre-trial detention center "Matrosskaya Tishina".

Another interesting address for committing a crime. In December 1997, the "Kurgans" shot one of their enemies, the leader of the Koptev organized criminal group Vasily Naumov(nickname Nahum Jr.), not far from the famous building on Petrovka, 38. What is it - ignorance of the "sights" of Moscow or a special gangster chic?

The history of the group began in Kurgan. It included unconvictioned young guys - members of the Komsomol and athletes.

Lieutenant of reserve Andrey Kolegov nicknamed Andrey Kurgansky, born in 1964, graduated from a higher military school, was known as a Komsomol activist. Professional training helped him in the formation of a military-style organized criminal group. Group brain.

Oleg Nelyubin, born in 1965, graduated from the Institute of Physical Education, his father is a famous athlete in Kurgan. In the army, Oleg became a sniper, then worked at a school as a physical education teacher. Responsible for discipline in the gang.

Vitaly Ignatov, born in 1962, a graduate of the same institute, dealt with financing, security operations.

Alexander Solonik

The Kurgans were taken into “development” when it turned out that this trinity worked together with a former policeman Alexander Solonik. They were all gravediggers in the same cemetery. Solonik spoke about this page of his biography, however, without naming the names of his “colleagues” during the investigation.

Another member of the organized crime group is a former traffic police inspector from Kurgan Vladimir Shugurov. Having retired from the organs, he began to serve the bandits. At the time of arrest - after the murder Vasily Naumov- offered cooperation to the Murovites, handed over all addresses of turnouts, telephones, weapons depots. It was he who answered the question of the investigation, why Nahum Jr. crashed next to the MUR. It turned out that the bandits really did not know Moscow.

Perpetrators of this murder Nesterov, Shugurov and Malaszewski recently received 20, 15 and 17 years' imprisonment, respectively. It was the loudest of the eight murders sane for the gang.

Naum Sr. (Alexander Naumov) was killed by "Kurgan" at the end of March 1995 on the Leningrad highway. So in a few years the guest performers removed almost the entire top of the “Koptevsky”, but at the same time they blamed first the Solnechnogorsk bandits, then the Izmailovsky ones. This provoked large-scale gang wars. Favorite weapon"Kurgan" - the pistol "Agram" (it was from "Agram", a rare and expensive weapon, in 1998 she was killed in St. Petersburg Galina Starovoitova).

"Kurgans" use expensive optical equipment, train at special forces shooting ranges. Shots are fired one after another. The leader of the Kuntsevo organized crime group was killed Kaligin and two of his friends, the leader of the falconer organized crime group was shot dead Kutepa, the owners of the Arlekino casino, several militants of rival gangs.

On the conscience of the bandits - the murder of their accomplices. One of them, a minor Balabutkina, they forced them to dig their own grave beforehand.

The "Kurgan" lawyer Solonik was beaten half to death - Zavgorodny. Sasha the Great was unhappy with the fact that the defender rarely visited him in prison. (Solonika was also killed by his own, "Orekhovskaya". But more on that later.)

Although even according to rough estimates, only twenty “authorities” were killed by the “Kurgans”, they were charged with eight contract killings, several attempts, robberies and extortion. received the longest term Andrey Kolegov, who was not the first violin in the band, is 24 years old.

He was arrested back in 1997 - he was given six years for possession of drugs. New term ate the old one. He was arrested in Greece, and I remember how unexpected he looked Kolegov on a winter evening at 38 Petrovka, in light shorts - in this form, the Murovites brought him from the plane.

Vasily Ignatov disappeared - either he was killed, or he skillfully hides. Another member of the gang also hit the run - Yuri Polkovnikov, who was under bail. He received seven years in prison in absentia.

Oleg Nelyubin he did not live to see the trial at all - he was killed in prison by a cellmate. Another member of the organized crime group Pavel Zelenin, the gang's chief counterintelligence officer, died in prison, allegedly from a drug overdose. In fact, he was forcibly injected lethal dose. By the way, when Pavel was arrested, they found certificates of an employee of the Moscow prosecutor's office and an assistant to a State Duma deputy. Nelyubin and Zelenin died in "Matrosskaya Tishina" in February 1998, on the anniversary of the massacre of Solonik.

killer number one

When I was preparing material with versions about the murder Thessaloniki(Sovershenno sekretno. 1997. No. 3), Viktor Golovanov, who was then the head of the MUR, assured: Sasha Makedonsky, "killer number one", was mainly created by journalists. Like, the usual ordinary "six". And although now we can talk about cooler killers, Solonik cannot be considered an ordinary one. What are his three jailbreaks worth! The price of the last escape - from the famous "Matrosskaya Tishina" - is 500 thousand dollars. That is how much the killer's friends paid to the prison officer Sergei Menshikov. They say that Solonik was helped to escape so that he would not speak. But after all, it was easier and cheaper to remove him in the cell, as, for example, they did with Nelyubin and Zelenin. Solonik needed someone in the wild? To whom?

Everyone knows that Solonik was killed in Greece, where he lived. But later, employees of the RUBOP, who were once given a diagram indicating where to find Solonik's corpse, told amazing things. Sasha of Macedon quietly traveled all over the world: Italy, Germany, Switzerland. He lived in the best hotels, bought expensive cars. But what about Interpol, which had an orientation towards Solonik, who made all the voyages under his own name?

But that is not all. To your name Solonik bought a house in... the Vladimir region, where, as it turned out, he often visited and honed his skills as a shooter. It is curious that this house was adjacent to the house of the now former employee of the anti-terrorist department of the FSB of the Russian Federation, Alexander Litvinenko. The one who allegedly "ordered" Boris Abramovich Berezovsky. Now he is a "political refugee" and lives in London. In disgrace and Boris Abramovich. One must think that Solonik trained for a reason. He worked in his usual genre both in Europe and in Russia, about which he even told his accomplices in one of the nightclubs on Tverskaya. And how everyone was looking for him, although Tverskaya Street is not even the Vladimir Region.

As soon as Solonik’s fellow countrymen, the Kurgans, began to testify, two members of the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group were arrested in the suburbs of Barcelona near a brothel - Sergei Butorin nicknamed axis and Marat Polyansky. The operation was carried out by the Spanish police together with the operatives of the Russian criminal investigation department.

Oshu suspected of organizing more than thirty contract killings, including the elimination of Thessaloniki: "Orekhovskaya" could not forgive Sasha Makedonsky for the murder of their leader Sylvester. Marat Polyanskyright hand axes. Involved in the preparation of twenty-eight murders. They say that he always went into business himself and always left a lot of evidence.

"Orekhovskiye"

The trial of the Orekhovskys has already begun. But Sergei Butorin while still under arrest in Spain – the extradition process is dragging on. Some detectives assure that it is calmer this way - the Moscow lads have accumulated too many questions for the lawless Osa, and in our prisons he may suffer the sad fate of two murdered Kurgan "colleagues". Back in 1996, Osya organized his funeral in Moscow at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery, and in the meantime he made himself a plastic surgery. The tombstone with the old face of the Axis can be admired even now.

Is still on the run Dmitry Belkin (Protein), the leader of the Odintsovo organized crime group, which at a certain stage merged with the Kurgan. This event was marked by the elimination of ten competitors in the Moscow region at once. In addition, the bandits cracked down on Yury Kezer, senior investigator of the special prosecutor's office of the Odintsovo district, who was in charge of the criminal case against Belkin and several of his accomplices.

The crime was carried out "creatively". The killer pretended to be a drunk for several days and wallowed in the mud near the prosecutor's office. Waiting for Kezer, he shot at him almost point-blank.

On the basis of the execution of the murders, the former special forces soldier especially distinguished himself Alexander Pustovalov (Sasha Soldier).

That's who the Murovites call "killer number one." On his account, only on the episodes sane by the investigator, there were thirteen murders. It was he who put the noose around his neck Solonik, with whom, as the detectives say, he completed more than ten "orders" together. Later, he was killed in Greece and Solonik's girlfriend - a fashion model Svetlana Kotova.

The most daring crime committed by the “Orekhovskaya” is the murder of the leader of the Assyrian organized criminal group Alik Assyrian (Bid Zhamo) and his associates on the “strelka” appointed in the park near the monument to Yuri Dolgoruky opposite the Moscow City Hall. At the same time, Sasha Soldat left weapons and gloves near the building of the General Prosecutor's Office on Bolshaya Dmitrovka, and his accomplice, nicknamed Kirya (Kirillov), running away, generally accidentally jumped over some kind of fence and ended up in the courtyard ... of the same Prosecutor General's Office.

An Assyrian who had problems with merchants patronized by the Orekhovites took with him a certain Utkin, who had spent almost 50 years behind barbed wire, to the “strelka”. The old recidivist, living by the rules, was a diplomat in his field. But the bandits of the times of capitalism have their own concepts ...

During the “showdowns” of the “Orekhovskaya” civilians suffered more than once. So, in January 1998, six members of the Koptev organized crime group who went over to the side of the Orekhovskys decided to deal with a certain Vyacheslav Stepanov. It happened on Novopeskovskaya street. Several bullets hit a passing tram - four people were injured.

Later, two killers then hid at the Orekhovskaya base in Solnechnogorsk, but the owners decided to eliminate them as unnecessary witnesses. Two more participants in the massacre who fled abroad, including Sergei Zimin, the son of Dmitry Zimin, the founder of Vimpelcom, were put on the international wanted list.

In October 1995, Sasha Soldat and his accomplice Dmitry Bulgakov, nicknamed Pirog, shot two members of the Kazan organized crime group - a commercial dispute also arose with this group. After the shooting, Sasha Soldat left, and Pirog, together with Roman Zaitsev, who was waiting for him at the Kutuzovskaya metro station, went down to the metro. Their appearance aroused the suspicion of two policemen, and they asked to show their documents. In response - fire from machine guns. One of the police officers, Anatoly Glebov, was killed, the other managed to survive. Roman Zaitsev was detained only four years later in Budapest, where he lived under forged documents.

Sergey Timofeev is one of the first among the "authorities" to start investing in legal business. He participates in the privatization of metallurgical enterprises in the Urals, controls half of the large commercial banks in Moscow, opens shops, restaurants, gyms. He has already received from New York from Yaponchik, who is sitting there, a "baby" in which he gives him the right to rule all of Moscow. He is no longer called Sylvester in the eye, but respectfully called: Sergei Ivanovich.

The meeting with Osya - Sergei Butorin was the main mistake of Sergei Ivanovich Timofeev.

Fate brought Sylvester to Osya while selling stolen paintings. This is the first serious case of Axis, who retired from the army as an ensign, who then served in the protection of the Scarlet Flower cafe. In 1990, together with his brother Alexander, Evgeny Tokarev and Vladimir Stepanov, he organized the theft of the home collection of paintings by one of the most famous Russian collectors of paintings and icons, Victor Magids. Later it turned out that Osya acted on the order of another well-known collector, Jan Feldman. But the "customer" did not get anything - he was soon found hanged in Belgium. The driver Stepanov, who was supposed to wait for Osya with stolen paintings, but did not do so, was shot on the orders of Butorin. Osya's brother, Alexander, the detectives managed to detain. He received a respectable term, but is now at large - under an amnesty.

Yevgeny Tokarev was sent for compulsory treatment to a psychiatric hospital, but he managed to escape and is still wanted.

The $9 million paintings became Axis' seed money. In a few years, his capital will amount to hundreds of millions of dollars.

When forming the brigade, Osya did not focus on athletes, but on the military. As you know, "Solntsevo" are mainly former athletes. The brigade, formed by Osya and "colleague" Andrei Pylev, nicknamed Karlik, immediately included Dmitry Belkin (Belok) - a former special forces soldier, Marat Polyansky - a graduate of the Leningrad Military Space Academy. Three more classmates of Marat worked in the gang, indispensable in eliminating the "enemy".

Separately, it is worth mentioning Alexander Pustovalov. Sasha Soldat is a native Muscovite, after graduating from the 8th grade he worked at the Khrunichev plant. He joined the army and ended up in the naval special forces - the most elite type of troops. Demobilized. A big lover of women, after the army, Sasha indulges in all serious. In one of the fights in the restaurant, he showed what the “black berets” are capable of, and he liked the “Ivanteevsky” ones. Worked for them for a while. Then he became friends with Belkin and ended up with him in the Orekhovskaya organized criminal group. As a highly qualified sniper, they were in great demand. Moreover, the cunning Osya did everything to ensure that many of the "exploits" of Sasha the Soldier were attributed to Solonik - Sasha of Macedon. In 1997, Pustovalov was sent abroad. He was detained in Moscow, on Magistralnaya Street, in the house where his mother was registered. The famous killer surrendered without a fight...

"Medvedkovsky"

The case of the Medvedkovskaya organized crime group is now in the proceedings of the Moscow City Prosecutor's Office. This group is also largely formed from the “graduates” of the Sylvester school, but the former military and special forces that make it up differ sharply even from the Axis team, with whom, as I wrote, Andrey Pylev began his gangster career.

The organized criminal group was actually led by two brothers - Andrei and Oleg (wanted). The Pylev brothers, on pain of death, forbade their fighters to use their nicknames - Andrei was called the Dwarf, and Oleg the General. The brothers were called only by their first name and patronymic. Both are obsessed with healthy way life and demanded the same from subordinates. Once a week they made all the fighters arrange fasting days and do cleansing enemas. No drunkenness, drugs, prostitutes or anything personal life. Strict discipline and "dosed" salary. No "non-working" contacts with "colleagues" in "Gangster Moscow". Sometimes, however, some fighters on the “shooters” met with the lads from the Izmailovo, Solntsevo, Lyubertsy organized crime groups and listened with envy to their stories about free life.

The grouping was supposed to completely put an end to the "thieves" movement, to eliminate competitors from other groups, some businessmen. The leaders were in serious business. During the arrest of the Orekhovskys and part of the Medvedkovskys, the Spanish police got into the hands of documents on negotiations with representatives of the Air Force of Libya and Peru on the sale to them of our combat aircraft, as well as aircraft designed to destroy submarines. Each aircraft is worth almost $5 million. It is hardly possible to acquire unique equipment without a "commonwealth" with someone from the Ministry of Defense.

But why be surprised now if the recent gathering of thieves in law took place on the territory of the F.E. Dzerzhinsky division (I remember what a shock the story of the thieves' gangway in Butyrka caused).

Although, perhaps, the old crime bosses, sentenced to destruction by the Medvedkovites, are safe only in such protected places? There is no good security for the "Medvedkovskaya" - they will still get the victim. The exception is the president of Russian Gold, Mr. Tarantsev, whom the Medvedkovites could not even come close to. Nevertheless, the vice-president, Mr. Gelashvili, was brazenly shot in the office of this firm. According to the materials of the investigation, this is the work of the “Medvedkovskys”, reminding Tarantsev that old friends should not be forgotten. Tarantsev's firm, which was once "under Sylvester", was considered by the "Medvedkovskaya" to be the sphere of their interests.

The special services, or rather, some of their representatives, are also in the sphere of interests of the "Medvedkovskaya" organized criminal group. Its branch in Kyiv was headed by Sylvester's friend, former KGB senior lieutenant Gusyatinsky. Both Osya and the Pylev brothers completed an internship with him. Once it was to him in Kyiv that Solonik, who had escaped from Matrosskaya Tishina, and the guard Menshikov, who helped him, arrived for forged documents. Gusyatinsky was shot from a rifle with a laser sight. His place was taken by two - Igor Smirnov, nicknamed Schultz and Yuri Fedulov (Shar Pei). They were killed under various pretexts: at first they started up a "duck" that one works for the cops, and the other uses drugs.

Although executions are not very typical for the leaders of the “Medvedkovskaya”: Oleg Pylev always believed that it was better to strangle the victims, cutting off their heads and hands, so that the corpses could not be identified. Perhaps this move was prompted by lawyers who served the OCG faithfully. Real gangster lawyers! It is quite possible that it was one of them who completely photocopied Butorin’s case, which, during his arrest in Barcelona, was confiscated from Axis along with interrogation protocols, addresses and telephone numbers of witnesses by Moscow operatives and their Spanish colleagues.

The “Medvedkovskys” generally had a craving for paper archives. During the arrest of one of the fighters, a bag was found in his garage, where records were kept - a kind of martyrology of the killed Izmailov fighters from Aksen's brigade. The gang leaders sought to eliminate the "outsiders" who knew them by sight. After the execution of the “order”, the killer was invited to the restaurant to assess his peace of mind, to find out if he was fit to perform further ingenious operations.

Operations were really developed ingenious. Here is one of them - the execution of the first founder of the Arlekino club Gusev (it was because of this club that Sylvester once quarreled with Dlugach and Bobon, who were killed on his orders). As usual, the killers threw away their weapons after the massacre of Gusev. One of the trunks is Agram-2000. The organizers of the murder hoped that the detectives would identify him. And so it happened. Murovtsy quickly found out: it was from this machine gun that in 1994 they shot one of the leaders of the Chechen organized crime group - Nikolai Suleymanov, nicknamed Khoza. Then this murder was attributed to the fighters of Sylvester, who, together with the famous thief in law Andrei Isaev, nicknamed Painting, declared war on the Caucasians. On the side of the "Slavs" was "Izmailovsky" Aksen, who quarreled on the eve of the murder with Khoza and boasted of reprisals against him.

The killer from the Pylev brigade, who kept the barrel from which the famous Chechen was shot, who was friends with Ruslan Khasbulatov himself and Makhmud Esambaev, used this weapon, averted suspicion from the real killers.

Myths and reality

Having worked in the criminal field for many years, I constantly come across several persistent myths. First, every contract killing of a more or less important official or deputy is immediately declared political. This thesis has never been confirmed. All "showdowns" occur only because of money, on economic grounds. Myth two: a wave of contract killings, for example in 1994, gave rise to legends about the White Arrow. Like, desperate honest detectives and intelligence officers decided in this way to eliminate the top of the underworld. In fact, this is a calm execution of the "order" - their own people kill their own.

But there is some truth about the "hand of the special services" here. Most often, specially trained people act as killers. The old "thief in law" Hayk Gevorkyan, Goga Yerevansky, was shot dead by a cadet of a higher police school (he worked part-time for a scholarship). Bobon and Globus - a former policeman Solonik. The "death battalions" of the "Kurgan", "Orekhov", "Medvedkov" were led by special forces.

Two years ago, when I was preparing a material about the forgery of documents when accepting an amnesty (Sovershenno sekretno. 2000, No. 6), I mentioned order-bearing killers, including Aleksey Sukach. He, like other "colleagues" -order bearers, according to the original plan of the legislators, also fell under the amnesty. It was interesting to listen then to the objection of the deputies: they say, we did not know that our killers were awarded orders and medals. Aleksey Sukach, Denis Lebenkov, Pavel Lobov, now convicted, these special forces soldiers who went through Chechnya, holders of orders and medals, what could they do in their current life? Just what the war had taught them. The thoughtless step of the legislators would also help them to establish themselves in their own impunity.

The secret services worked not only for Sylvester's pets (I mean all three organized criminal groups connected with him in one way or another), but also for the Novokuznetsk gang, a cruel gang that terrorized Moscow for many years. For two years, the military court of the Moscow garrison has been hearing the case of Igor Kushnikov, who went through the military path from the head of the information and analytical department of the FSB of the Russian Federation to the godfather of the Golyanovskaya organized criminal group. Such is the reality.

I won't moralize about it. A few more examples are better. Now they are going to liquidate the Department for the Investigation of Banditry and Murders - the only division of the Moscow City Prosecutor's Office that has retained experienced professionals working in good conscience, and not on an “order”. What for? Maybe they learned too much by investigating the cases of the “Kurgan”, “Orekhovskaya”, “Medvedkovskaya”?

As you know, it takes ten years to grow an experienced detective. The state has done everything so that such people no longer serve. Only a few of those who remember how on Petrovka, 38, the thermophysicist Arkady Murashov, appointed head of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate, demanded to gather all the agents in the assembly hall "for a serious conversation." This caused Homeric laughter among professionals.

But then this agency still existed. Then it was systematically destroyed as an institution. Then they revived. But when it was more or less revived, it turned out that its owners themselves had already switched to the service of the “sponsored”.

Recently, the police liquidated a whole division of super-professionals - the Moscow RUBOP. Those who survived this upheaval are now saying that almost former guards have been appointed to the positions of heads of departments of the current organized crime unit!

Recently, I calculated that since the moment I was “introduced” into my topic – since 1986 – I have been “surviving” the eleventh Minister of the Interior. Each of them shook up his unit. Time shook them all together.

As a result, we are now shaking, a country where the main power is still the fifth. The power of criminals and organized crime. And we are still citizens of the empire of the heirs of Yaponchik, Sylvester, Goga of Yerevan and Sasha of Macedon.

By the fall of 1994, Timofeev had made a lot of enemies in the criminal world, who expressed serious claims to him. In this regard, Osya understood that he, too, was in danger as the organizer of numerous massacres on the orders of Sylvester. Otherwise, the boss himself can get even with him at any moment. At that time, the bandits who occupied in the criminal hierarchy important places, close to the leader of the group, lived an average of 1.5 - 2 years.

The only way out of this situation was the elimination of Timofeev himself. This would suit both his enemies and Butorin himself, who would then become the new leader of the Orekhovskys. On September 13, 1994, a bomb went off under a Mercedes car, when it was driving along Timofeev's 3rd Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street. Sylvester died, and Osya immediately began literally over the corpses to break into the leaders of the "Orekhovskaya". In a short period, on his orders, many criminal authorities of the "Orekhovskaya" organized criminal group were killed - Cult, Dragon, Vitokha other. Eliminate henchmen for the slightest offense has become a rule for Butorin. The student has surpassed his teacher by instilling even more cruel tyranny in the gang.

Friends should be killed by friends

Sergey Butorin even created his own counterintelligence, headed by a resident of Odintsovo Dmitry Belkin nicknamed Protein. To eliminate "his" Belok developed a whole ritual. Members of the group were gathered in the bath for a steam bath or in the forest for a picnic. Everyone knew that such a party would end in the death of one of the gang members, but they were afraid to refuse to go. On the spot, colleagues attacked the victim, who either strangled him or beat him to death. Then the body was dismembered in front of all those gathered, and the remains were burned or buried in the forest. Moreover, the role of the killer of the objectionable Belok always assigned his closest friend in the organized criminal group. “Friends should be killed by friends,” the fanatic cynically declared.

Meanwhile, the struggle on the external fronts also did not subside. In 1995 - 1996, the Axis gang eliminated the entire top of the "Kuntsevo", "Sokolniki", "Assyrian" and "Odintsovo" ("Golyanovskaya") groups, as well as the heads of companies associated with them. In total, according to investigators, 57 murders and attempts were committed during these criminal wars.

When, in 1996, MUR employees got on the trail of the Orekhovskys, Osya staged his own death. In one of the capital's cemeteries, there is still a grave with a slab on which a photograph of a crime boss hangs. He himself, however, underwent plastic surgery and left for Greece. There, on the orders of the Axis, Alexander Solonik was killed, whom he considered an unnecessary and overly talkative witness. Then Osya moved to Spain, where in 2001 he was arrested along with his bodyguard Marat Polyansky for illegal possession of weapons.

In May 2011, the trial of Butorin and Polyansky began in the Moscow City Court on charges of 32 murders and assassination attempts.
