Passing the ball in motion.

At the same time, you can change the distance between the players, the method of passing the ball (with one hand from above, from below, from behind the head, from behind, etc.), the speed of movement, or successively approach the partner, then move away from him. Pay the main attention to the accuracy of the passes, because the ability to score the ball into the opponent's goal in the game largely depends on it.

III. Main part 20-25 min.

Catching the ball with both hands - for this you need to stretch your arms towards the ball, do not strain your hands and slightly turn your palms down, spread your fingers freely. The abducted thumbs should almost touch, and the index fingers should be directed towards each other. As soon as the ball approaches the required distance, the palms come together and the fingers cover the ball. The arms must be bent to absorb the speed of the ball. When catching high-flying balls and balls from a rebound, the thumbs of the hands need to be brought closer together than when catching straight balls. And when catching low-flying and rolling balls, the palms must be turned towards the ball so that the little fingers almost touch. The ball can be caught from the front and from the side. In order to catch the ball from the front, the handball player must turn his chest to him. In this case, both hands must be extended towards the ball. For fishing from the side, turning is not needed. The athlete extends his arms towards the flying ball, without turning the pelvis, but only slightly turning his shoulders and head. If the ball flies to the left of the player, then left hand it is necessary to bend more than the right one, and take the elbow back. Grasping the ball with his fingers, the handball player pulls it to his chest. The ability to catch the ball from the side allows you to carry out subsequent tricks without slowing down the pace of movement, without narrowing the view of the site, without spending too much time preparing for further actions.

Passing the ball. This is the main technique that ensures the interaction of partners. Without an accurate and fast pass, it is impossible to create the conditions for a successful goal attack. In handball, passes are made mainly with one hand from a place or from a running start. If the ball is passed from a place, then the opposite foot should be put forward. When passing the ball from a running start, it is allowed to take no more than three steps, and one of them can be a cross. Depending on the takeoff run, the transmission is carried out in a two-bearing or one-bearing position. When taking off with normal steps, the player releases the ball from his hand while resting most often on the opposite leg. When taking off with a cross step, the acceleration and release of the ball occur when resting on both legs, with the opposite leg in front. Sometimes the ball is passed in an unsupported position - in a jump. To do this, at the moment of repulsion, a swing is made, and when the player is in the air, a pass is made. Swing is the abduction of the hand with the ball for the subsequent dispersal of the ball. The swing is up-back and side-back. The execution of the swing depends on how the handball player holds the ball in one hand. If the ball is not held by the fingers, then at the end of the swing it remains in the palm of your hand. When holding the ball with a grip, the handball player has much greater options for choosing the direction and duration of the swing. In this case, the hand with the ball can be brought behind the back, behind the head, swing, placing the hand at the level of the head in front of you, etc.

The run and swing make up the preparatory phase of the transfer. In the main phase, the handball player reports the speed and direction of the ball flight (accelerates the ball) in three ways: whip, push and brush.

When passing with a whip, the degree of rotation of the torso during the swing depends on how much effort it is necessary to send the ball. On long passes, the turn is significant, and the arm with the ball at the end of the swing is almost straight. With medium and close, you can swing without turning the body. In this case, when swinging, the arm should be taken to the side-back and bent at the elbow joint at a right angle.

In the main phase of the whip pass, the handball player, starting to accelerate the ball, first brings the shoulder forward, and then the forearm and hand, making a whipping movement with the arm.

When pushing, no preparatory movements are required. The athlete, straightening the bent arm (arms), pushes the ball in the right direction. This method of passing allows you to send the ball to the near and medium distances.

When passing with a brush, only the forearm and hand take part in dispersing the ball. The ball is usually held with the fingers. Preparatory movements consist in a short swing with a brush. The transfer can thus be made behind the head from starting position- the ball is on top.

On the trajectory of the ball, the transfer by any of the above methods can be direct, hinged and rebounded. With a direct pass, the ball flies along the shortest path to a partner. A hinged trajectory is given to the ball by directing it forward and upward. A bounce pass is a pass using the surface of the court. It is important to send the ball into the court in such a way that it bounces at the level of the partner’s belt, taking into account the speed of his movement.

Dribbling is a technique that allows a player to move with the ball around the court in any direction and at any distance, to keep the ball as long as necessary, to beat an opponent.

Leading is single-hit and multi-hit. One-hit dribbling is performed as follows. Having caught the ball, the player takes three steps with it, then hits it on the court. Having caught the rebounded ball, the handball player can again take three steps with the ball in his hands before giving it to a partner or throwing it into the goal. There are two ways to send the ball into the surface of the court: push and toss. The push is carried out by pressing the ball from above. It is important at the end of the movement to accelerate the ball with a sharp movement of the fingers. Throwing the ball forward, the handball player makes a jerk after it and catches it after bouncing off the court.

Multi-hit dribbling is carried out by successive pushes of the ball with the fingers of one hand. To change the direction of movement, the place where the ball touches also changes. To send the ball forward, you need to touch the ball from behind. To advance to the right, the fingers must touch the ball from the left, and so on.

The following rules must be observed in multi-hit dribbling:

Move on a full foot on slightly bent legs;

Push the ball with your fingers;

Do not enslave the brush when in contact with the ball;

To push the ball forward in accordance with the speed of movement;

Produce a push so that the ball bounces

not below the waist;

Control the ball with peripheral vision.
