Tank battles radio controlled tanks business. Tank battle

Radio-controlled models have long ceased to be just toys. Every year, models acquire more and more advanced forms and more and more “smart” functions, as a result they are gaining popularity not only among children and teenagers, but also older people are beginning to be interested in them.

The development of production technologies allows us to produce more interesting “toys” to bring pleasure to fans of war games.

On September 5, 2010, I was able to attend an exciting event organized by TsKI "Meridian" And TO "Tank Club Moscow"- interactive show of radio-controlled tank models.

(The detail is such that in the photograph of a heavy German tank"Tiger" you can even see the shovel)

All models presented were in 1:16 format ( largest tank models) and also had the possibility of sound and light effects.

In the photo from left to right models:

At the time of its creation, the vehicle was the strongest in terms of armament and armor among all tanks in the world; this situation remained at least until November 1943.

The design of the tank began at the end of 1938. The KV took on its first battle on December 17, 1939 during the breakthrough of the Khottinensky fortified area of the Mannerheim Line. Upon presentation on December 19, 1939 (one day after the tests!) the KV tank was put into service.

Thanks to its combat qualities, the T-34 was recognized by a number of experts as the best medium tank of the Second World War. During its creation, Soviet designers managed to find the optimal balance between the main combat, operational and technological characteristics.

At the request of the owner, this model was transported on a trailer, also radio-controlled by the way.

Spectators were treated to several types of performances.
The first of them is a review of equipment and an obstacle course.

As I said earlier, some equipment moved onto the battlefield on “alien” wheels:

Tank (infrared) combat is a fun interactive game.

Each tank in one battle can fire up to 40 shots from a cannon; to do this, you need to press one “cannon” key, after which an imitation sound of a shot is heard and the gun rolls back. The delay of each shot is 3 seconds, which corresponds to the reloading time of a real combat vehicle’s gun.

The T-34, for example, can withstand 6 hits. After 6 hits, the tank will begin to turn left/right, the LEDs will begin to flicker, simulating a fire, and all this will be accompanied by the sound of a burning flame, then the model will stop. after 30 seconds the engine will start automatically and the battle can be continued again.

Some models received very real damage.

At the end of the show there was a production of an episode from the Second World War with the participation of steam locomotive equipment.

How to organize a radio-controlled tank battle. The tactical method of defensive combat is considered - actions from ambushes. At least 2 tanks participate in the battle. Tanks scale 1:32.

Tank battle or just war

After you have bought a radio-controlled tank, you have an irresistible desire to try its powers in real combat. To do this, you need to find like-minded people, because you will have to fight as a team or in a duel. Try looking for accomplices on local city forums; now this type of entertainment is very popular, and you will probably find the people you need. Once the team is assembled, you can begin to approve the script. It’s not enough to just get ready and start a battle, you need to act according to the plan, because a radio-controlled tank battle, although a toy, is a battle, which means it requires the use of tactical and strategic plans. First you need to count the number of participants and the number of military equipment. The more tanks, the more interesting and larger the battle. If owners of other radio-controlled equipment ask to join the team, do not refuse. Every combat unit counts. Cars can play easy role equipment and replace infantry troops. You can add additional missions to the battle, for example, delivering correspondence to headquarters and refilling tanks with ammunition.

One of the options for a tank battle scenario could be to analyze one of the most effective ways defense - ambush combat. During the war, using this method of combat, our troops defeated the enemy, despite their significant advantage. To organize a radio-controlled tank battle, you will need at least 6 tanks, preferably 2 in an ambush and 4 in an offensive. Of course, the more tanks, the better and more interesting. If there are few tanks, think over several options for ambush sites and work out at least 3 routes. Then you can arrange several captures with a change of teams. Form teams in advance so they can prepare. In this type of combat, advance preparation is of great importance. Teams are formed in such a way that more tanks are involved in the attack than in the ambush.

Defensive battle - ambush

Ambush actions - The best way defensive battle. To stage such a battle, you need a bushy area in which about 3 - 4 tanks can be placed and hidden. Tanks should be positioned within firing range of each other to provide support if necessary.

Choose a place to spend radio controlled tank battle so that there is shelter in it and there are no objects that catch the eye. Perfect option- park or square. Inspect the area in advance and think about where your tanks will hide. Consider the location of the headquarters, the capture of which will be considered a victory. You can sew team banners. Set the time allotted for the battle. For the defenders, holding their position during this time will be a victory.

The most suitable places for an ambush will be: a) small bushes that cover the height of the tank; b) small hills, from behind which only the tank’s turret is visible; on the sides you can camouflage yourself with leaves and grass, which will hide the location of the tank; c) it is desirable to have good shelling at the longest range in important directions. Your ambush should be located along the enemy's route. Arrive early and dig in so that the enemy does not know the exact location of your ambush points.

Radio-controlled tank combat is conducted by firing at the enemy. The best method of firing from an ambush is considered to be shooting from a point-blank range over short distances, with a quick transfer of fire to the desired targets, with frequent changes in one’s position and an imperceptible, very quick transition to a reserve point to resume fire from there. To perform such maneuvers you will need considerable dexterity and ability to control the tank. Tanks must be dug in in such a way that there is easy access back. It is necessary to pay the closest attention to exits so that the tanks do not skid when leaving. Tanks and exits must be well camouflaged.

Your fellow soldiers must know where the ambushes are located. While in an ambush, it is necessary to appoint an ambush commander who distributes firing roles between the tanks. All approaches must be known to everyone in the ambush, you must act as a team and support each other. Remember that you are playing on a team and must act together. Choose a commander to whom everyone must obey.

Radio-controlled tank combat allows you to use different firing options depending on the appearance of new targets. Let's say a large enemy column appeared on the road in front of the ambush. If there are two tanks in an ambush, then you should fire shells first at the rear and lead tanks, and then direct fire at the rest. This is done with the aim of depriving enemy tanks of the opportunity to maneuver. Tankers in an ambush must think through all firing options in advance and distribute roles among themselves. The tanks change their firing position in turns, while supporting each other with fire. In such battles, good theoretical preparation is important. Gather with your team, develop symbols, principles of action and a defense plan. Always focuses on raising and strengthening team spirit Special attention, since the time of the Great Patriotic War.

Thanks to a similar system of ambushes and the main tank forces, our tanks beat the Germans during the war, despite the enemy’s clear superiority in the number of tanks.

I guess I'll finish here and finally say one thing -

From May 7 to 12, the NATO analogue of the Russian “Tank Biathlon” - the international tank championship Strong Europe Tank Challenge 2017 - was held at the Grafenwoehr training ground in Bavaria.

The fact that the competition was started with the goal of identifying the best tank crew among NATO armies does not mean that non-aligned countries were barred from participating. Against.

Tankers from Austria took part in the tank competitions and, for the first time in the arena, a Ukrainian tank platoon - three T-64BV tanks from the 14th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stationed in the city of Vladimir-Volynsky.

The sending of Ukrainian tanks to Bavaria and participation in the NATO tank competition took place with corresponding ideological pumping in the media.

It was reported that the Ukroboronprom concern carried out modernization work and installed the latest foreign thermal imagers on the tanks. Information came from official Kyiv propagandists, such as military correspondent Tsaplienko, that the huntars were ready to put them up for competition for such a cause. newest tanks"Oplot", but could not find trained crews for them. Therefore, having thought twice, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense relied on tankers from the punitive forces who fought in the Donbass on well-mastered T-64BV series tanks.

The rivals of the Panzerwaffe were tank platoons: Germany - with Leopard-2A6 tanks; Austria - with Leopard-2A4; Poland, which replaced its Twardy tanks with Leopard-2A5; France - on Leclerc tanks, USA - on M1A2 Abrams.

Germany was the host for last year's victory in a similar competition. The top four in 2016 included tank crews from Denmark, Italy and Poland, leaving the Americans behind. Evil tongues, however, claim that almost everyone except the Americans put instructors in their tanks instead of line crews, which was the reason for the disastrous result of the Yankees.

Be that as it may, it was possible to assume in advance that the T-64BV, which last time were released in 1985, it was a futile endeavor.

As always, the Ukrainian side was chasing show-off, considering competitions with NATO tank aces and supermen more prestigious than with some kind of “cotton wool” and “scoops”.

The result of the 4th day of competition on May 11 speaks for itself: last place and 750 total points for the Ukrainian team, which is almost 300 points less than the penultimate place of the Polish team and more than half the result of the Americans. Here, however, it is difficult to say who the Americans sent this time under the impression of last year’s failure. Perhaps even their own instructors.

Ukrainian political leaders, in turn, assure that everything went well, the performance of the Ukrainian crews impressed NATO members, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Muzhenko, who came to the closing of the competition, declared the outstanding level of training of Ukrainian tank crews. The same case when you don’t praise yourself, no one will praise you.

You can watch the NATO “tank biathlon” on YouTube to see for yourself: contrary to the statements of the Kyiv political leaders that the Ukrainians shot “excellently” and better than anyone else, they shot the worst.

Before gloating, I would like to note the following: the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported with fanfare about the installation of modern thermal imagers on Ukrainian tanks.

However, judging by the deaf silence about everything else, it is safe to assume that others sights on the tanks, called the FCS (fire control system), have remained untouched since Soviet times, otherwise the Ukrainian media would have been buzzing with news of unheard-of upgrades.

Most likely, the ammunition for the tanks was also from old Soviet stocks, as was the tank gun, which was swollen from shots and was close to reaching its end of life. The T-64BV tank itself is far from a masterpiece and in terms of its performance characteristics it is much inferior not only to modern Western models of tank building, but also to the modified Soviet T-72B3, not to mention the T-90AM, which has been thoroughly tested in combat operations in Syria.

On the other hand, tank competitions are not based on shooting alone! The list also includes other disciplines: shooting from individual weapons, first aid, throwing a grenade, driving a tank at speed, overcoming obstacles, oncoming tank combat, evacuation...

With all due respect, it is not entirely clear why a championship in shooting from individual weapons for tank crews is needed. No, deprive tankers small arms, as an additional moral incentive, no one is going to.

But, if you think about it, when was the last time tankers used individual weapons en masse? Most likely during the Battle of Kursk. Specifically, in the tank battle near Prokhorovka, when on both sides everything did not go according to plan, and hundreds of tanks clashed in a close oncoming battle. Soviet and German cars they went to ram, fired point-blank, the surviving crews crawled out of the wreckage of the armor and rushed into a furious hand-to-hand fight. Since then, if memory serves, nothing like this has happened.

This also includes first aid, grenade throwing, and oncoming tank combat.

Ukrainian “experts”, those who “stick tanks” and “count rivets,” almost unanimously note that the NATO “tank biathlon” is much more practical, although in terms of entertainment it is much inferior to the competitions in Alabino. In fact, the NATO “biathlon” is both impractical and absolutely no spectacle.

It’s strange, but true: in the West, which has eaten more than one dog and its own teeth in the field of all kinds of shows, they were unable to organize a spectacular tank competition. Everything looked very routine and official.

We can safely give ours an “A” for “tank biathlon” and “air darts”.

Even with such a seemingly spectacular competition as “run over a small car with a tank,” many crews coped without a hitch.

The obstacle course for NATO tanks also did not arouse much interest, and the fact that each tank was driving along a separate smooth path generally gave rise to bewilderment. Do NATO members really see this for themselves? fighting? No, it is clear that both in Alabino and in Bavaria “tank biathlons” are far from real combat operations with tanks supported by motorized infantry, aviation, artillery, etc., but our “biathlon” is still much more applied than NATO’s , taking place practically in greenhouse conditions.

Previously, they say, there was a very cool tank championship for the Canadian Army Cup. Judging by what was written about him in the Soviet magazine “Foreign military review", the competition was harsh and close to a combat situation. It was necessary to compete without fools, and more than once it turned out that some Dutch conscripts regularly beat the great American pros. Maybe that’s why this cup is a thing of the past, when the Cold War was still going on?

In general, it is clear why NATO members stubbornly refuse to go and compete in Alabino. And it’s clear why Ukrainian tank crews were invited to the training ground in Bavaria. In order to use their anti-example to humiliate the Soviet and, therefore, Russian weapons, for which today those interested are lining up.

In special cases, these are Ukrainians for the West - residents of a “sovereign, independent” state. And in life, no matter how much Poroshenko, Klimkin and the rest of the loose camarilla puff themselves up, they continue to remain “Russian”, “Soviet”, a fragment of the USSR for NATO members.

You just have to be completely blind not to see it, have no heart not to feel it, and be deprived of brains to play such games.
