Expert assessment

Sergei Demagin played in many hockey clubs in Belarus and Russia. At the club level with Dynamo from Minsk, he won medals of all trials, but in Russia, Sergei has not yet had any titles. He represents a group of experienced hockey players in the Belarusian national team who have been making the weather in it for many seasons.

It is impossible to say that Sergey Demagin has a very high performance. However, throughout his career, he showed stability and even play, while other hockey players, as a rule, periods of good play alternate with failures in skill. In the national team, Demagin always puts a couple of young players in the top five - if the situation allows - he always has something to learn.

The Belarusian collection has become a "policeman", by the way.

Sergei Demagin has been going through a black streak for the last year and a half. Just no luck. Last summer, the striker moved to Nizhny Novgorod full of strength and energy. But already on the second day of the pre-season, a big nuisance happened - Sergey broke his jaw. It took several months for treatment, recovery and the pursuit of form. After playing several matches in the regular season, Demagin broke down again - again in training. The skate fell into a crack in the ice - the ankle twisted. As a result, last season the Belarusian did not play a third of the matches for Torpedo - 24 games, 4 (1 + 3) points.

But the sniper approached the World Cup in full health and was ready to help the national team. But Demagin had no luck in the Czech Republic either - the performance turned out to be very uneven. Sergey then got into the application for the match, then he watched the games from the side. For 4 matches as the 13th forward, Demagin spent 14 minutes. Of course, with such an ice time it was difficult for anyone to notice.

Torpedo decided for themselves still in the spring, but the termination of the two-year contract with Demagin was announced only in mid-July. Since the summer, the Belarusian has been in the status of unemployed - Demagin still does not have a club. Although some options - even in the Belarusian extraleague - the forward had.

So far, Sergei is in no hurry to continue his career and is in his native Togliatti. In the summer, the forward probably did his favorite thing - fishing. By the way, the city of Lada is dearer to Demagin than Minsk - he has no real estate in Belarus, but he still plans to live in Tolyatti. The hockey player admitted this in an interview with Pressball in the spring. And even if there is a choice between Lada and Dynamo Minsk, they will choose Russian team. And getting into the Togliatti club for Sergey is a childhood dream.

"Lada" is in no hurry to invite a pupil. More precisely, the club had a conversation with the hockey player last season. But in this, as the general director of Togliatti Vladimir Vdovin said, "the team does not need Demagin." As a result, there was a very serious jump - from the KHL and the elite world championship to amateur hockey. Demagin does not sit idle and keeps fit with the UBOP team from the TLHL (Togliatti Amateur Hockey League). The "Policemen" are now one of the best teams in the tournament. And one of the main forwards of the team is Sergei Demagin - in 5 meetings, the 29-year-old Belarusian scored 11 points. As is often the case, the striker's statistics are dominated by goals - 10 goals and only one assist. In the list of snipers, Demagin shares the first place with Yevgeny Glyadentsev from Lightning.

In TLHL, Demagin is almost the main star. These are the posts made by opposing goalkeepers.

Sergey refused to communicate now: he apologized and said that he had no desire. But, I think that right now TLHL is not the ceiling of the Belarusian forward.
