  • a liter of distillate with a strength of 40 degrees;
  • a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate;
  • a tablespoon of table salt.

Sequencing:

  1. Pour bicarbonate and salt into a container with moonshine, mix thoroughly, close the lid and put in a dark place.
  2. Shake again after 30 minutes. Place the container in a cool dark place overnight.
  3. A milky-white precipitate should appear in the bottom of the container. Using a cotton-gauze filter using carbon powder, filter the drink. Repeat the filtration several times, replacing the used carbon with a new portion.
  4. Distill the purified moonshine again.

Soda and potassium permanganate



Cleaning moonshine with soda and potassium permanganatehas been controversial for a long time. Some believe that this method is completely ineffective, but many prefer it.

How to clean moonshine with soda and potassium permanganate:

One liter of distillate will require 1.5 grams of manganese powder and 10 grams of baking soda.

  1. First you need to preparemanganese solution, for which potassium permanganate powder is diluted in 250 ml of water.
  2. Dilute baking soda also in 250 ml of water.
  3. Pour the soda solution into a container with moonshine, mix. Add a solution of potassium permanganate, close the container with a lid.
  4. Shake the contents well, then put in a dark, cool place for 30 minutes.
  5. After half an hour, shake the bottle and leave for 14 hours in a cool, darkened room.
  6. When sediment forms at the bottom, the liquid must be filtered several times and re-distilled.
