Power Armor: Models of power armor. Power Armor: Power Armor Models

Any gamer familiar with the Fallout universe knows what power armor is. This one is the most powerful in any part of this post-apocalyptic computer game. Moreover, even if you have not played any of the parts, but just saw the cover of the game, you already know what this type of armor looks like. It has the most impressive size and stands out from any other. Particularly noteworthy is the helmet, which has long been associated with this series of games. However, not everyone knows that in fact, power armor is not a single item. Not only is it assembled from several different elements, it also has a large number of variations both within the same game and between different episodes. So what types of this protective suit exist in this universe?

How it all began

The most popular and well-known power armor among players is the T-45d, which first appeared in the third part of the game, then migrated to the New Vegas add-on, and ended up in the fourth part, which went on sale recently. This type of armor according to the plot of the game was invented in 2067 and did not immediately take its final form. Initially, it was equipped with a rather small battery, which drained incredibly quickly, making the use of armor ineffective. Therefore, in the end, the battery was replaced with a nuclear microreactor. A servo mounted in the armor allows the equipped fighter to carry much more equipment than usual, and has its downside - the fighter's movements become noticeably more constrained. It is also worth noting another drawback - many systems are located directly under the top layer of armor, which makes them more vulnerable. As for the helmet, it is equipped with a large number of additional functions, such as a searchlight, a laser target indicator, a gas mask and a device for it. It should be noted that the power armor of this model had a large number of various modifications that changed one or another of its components, but all of them cannot makes no sense, since now you know all the necessary information about the main and original version.

First improvements

However, this is a variant that only appeared in the third part of the game. What was before him in the Fallout universe? Power armor did not always look like it was mentioned above - for example, in the first parts of the game, its place was taken by the more bulky T-51b model. Given the chronology of events in games, this model was developed later than the previous one, namely in 2076 - by that time the kit described above was completely outdated. The T-51b was seriously ahead of its predecessor in terms of mobility, as it was equipped with the latest system. She also made the fighter stronger and allowed her to carry a lot of weapons and ammunition, but at the same time did not hinder her movements. This time, the armor was immediately equipped with a micro-reactor, the service life of which was a hundred years. The materials from which this armor was made provided protection from any kind of damage, including laser attacks and radiation. In addition, the new armor systems have an additional casing that protects them from damage - much more reliable than in the previous version. The helmet has changed only externally - all the systems have remained the same, only an air recirculation system has been added to them. The power armor of the 4th and 3rd parts of Fallout clearly cannot be compared with this masterpiece.

T-60 - defense progress

The question of where to find power armor is always a question for gamers who play any of the Fallout games. In different situations, the answers to it may be different, but when it comes to the T-60 model, then everything is quite simple here. The fact is that according to the plot, you will quickly find this armor option in the fourth part of the series. Its main difference from the previous two sets is increased convenience. On the back there is a special valve, when you turn it rear end the suit opens, the fighter can go inside, after which the armor will close and seal. This, of course, is not the only difference of this model. It is also worth noting a special display that is present inside the helmet - it allows you to control the state of the suit, all its systems, the environment, the fighter's body, and so on. In fact, using this armor has become much more convenient, because you can constantly monitor how much ammo you have left, track damage and much more.

X-01 - power standard

So, you have learned about the most basic types of power armor that are found in the Fallout universe. However, there are many more varieties of them, and some of them deserve special attention. Since the last and most relevant part of the game is the fourth, we will talk about the kits that can be found there. And the first type worth mentioning is the X-01 Power Armor. This set is the rarest in the entire game, but it is also the most powerful. The fact is that this armor is made of a special alloy that combines high strength and lightness. So the X-01 power armor is what players most often pay attention to when looking for a model for themselves in the world of the fourth episode of Fallout.

Raider Armor

If in Fallout game 4 power armor X-01 is the best, it is worth considering also the option of the most unfortunate armor. It should be noted right away that this set is not factory - most likely, this is the work of raiders who found a damaged set of armor and restored it for their own use. The item found was a T-45d armor piece, so many of the characteristics of this kit are the same as the original. However, the most striking difference lies in the limitation of the possibility of improvement - if the original set has six slots for improvement, then this set has only two. But at the same time, it is worth noting that, even being the weakest version of power armor in the game, such a model still makes its wearer an extremely dangerous opponent.

T-51

If we have already talked about the T-51b model, then we cannot help but recall the armor on the basis of which it was created. This set is a prototype of this armor, but at the same time differs in some parameters - it is slightly less functional, suffers from a lack of mobility compared to the model that will replace it in 2076.

Improved Power Armor

This model of power armor is very different from all the previous ones, because it was made much later. It began to be used only in 2198, so you can easily imagine how much it differed from all other versions. If we talk about in which games you can find this kit, then everything is quite simple here. Given the chronology of events, you can find sets of such armor either in the second part, or in an addition to the third, which is called New Vegas. Power armor of this type is no longer designated by either the T series or the X series - in fact, the game does not say at all whether a particular series was for this type of armor. In order to power these sets of energy, microreactors were used, which remained on the old decommissioned sets of armor. Even with their long use in the past, they still stored enough energy to keep new armor alive for a long time. In many ways, the improved kit was similar to the legendary T-51b, but there were plenty of differences. The materials of manufacture have been completely changed, and the hydraulic control system has given way to servomotors with electrical amplification. Thus, in Fallout Vegas, power armor is already very different from how it looked (and functioned) before.

"Tesla"

Another type of armor from the distant future that can only be found in the New Vegas episode. It was made using the drawings of the well-known scientist Nikola Tesla. Special ones are installed on it, which are better known to people as "Tesla coils" - it is with their help that this armor gets the opportunity to form energy projectiles for weapons much faster and much more silently. This significantly increases the accuracy of shooting and the level of damage inflicted on the enemy.

"Gehenna"

This type of armor is not canonical, as it is found only in the game Broken Steel, which is not an official part of the series, but only an addition to the third part of the game. However, it is still worth paying attention to it, because it was this armor that became quite popular even later, after 2277. Most likely, this model is also based on the T-51b, since specifications they match. However, at the same time, the helmet has been greatly modified, and it is immediately clear from the armor that it was created for aggressive forceful actions. Its main advantage over the original version is the fact that it can be repaired using parts from other sets of the same armor, which could not be done with the T-51b.

Armor NBS

If the previous set of armor could still be attributed to the original series of games, since it was found in an add-on that is not as plot-driven as New Vegas, then in this case it should immediately be said that this set may intersect with the canon in some ways. then contradict him. This armor is used in the game Fallout Tactics, which largely contradicts the main plot of the games. This armor is a modification of the T-51b, more precisely, its commercial counterpart, which was used in the nineties in the Midwest. This is a limited series, so there are a certain number of sets in the entire game. It is quite controversial, since it bypasses the original in some parameters, and is seriously inferior in others - for example, in terms of energy supply, since it is not powered by a classic mass-produced microreactor, but by a reactor of unknown origin.

The T-51b power armor was put into mass production before the Great War and was in service with the motorized infantry of the US Army. Due to the most complex device and the innovative technical base of this type of protection, only minds tempted by science could use and successfully repair it. It is for this reason that power armor ( T-51b power armor) after the nuclear apocalypse was only available to the Enclave and parts of the Brotherhood of Steel.

The armor is powered by a back-mounted TX-28 micronuclear battery. The outer shell is made of composite steel, capable of withstanding forces in excess of 2500 Joules. For protection against electromagnetic radiation and laser weapons, a 10 nikron thick silver coating is implemented in the armor. It is worth saying that thanks to a well-thought-out power supply, the suit can provide uninterrupted operation for 100 years. Created this masterpiece of engineering comrade beastus . Thank you for the work done.

Power armor T-51b made of paper consists of all standard elements. This time we will not disassemble each individual part, we will only remind you that the dimensions must be carefully selected and the more measurements and fittings there are, the better. As for the rest, good luck with sizing and gluing.

Schematic of T-51b power armor made of paper -

In the load we throw off the same armor, but from another author ( PepMaster ). This archive does not contain a helmet and boots. Which of the options to use is up to you.

power armor- This at its core, an exoskeleton, on which strong armor was stuck, forming a kind of knightly armor, only in a modern version, just such armor can be found or bought in the vastness of Fallout 4. power armor uses for the work of all its elements, including the exoskeleton, nuclear blocks.

For convenience, we suggest you use summary :

The exoskeleton is the central part of power armor; various elements can be attached to it, assembling a single armor from disparate parts.

Description of Power Armor in Fallout 4

As mentioned above, the central part of the Power armor in Fallout 4 is the exoskeleton, individual elements of the armor are already attached to it, turning the exoskeleton into modern knightly armor, a soldier dressed in such a skeleton looks like a walking tank from the outside.

Power armor comes from the nuclear block, when the energy in it starts to run out, many of the armor's functions are turned off, such as acceleration.

This armor is made up of 6 constituent parts such as: 2 legs, 2 arms, a helmet and a body. Armor elements can be put from different modifications, thereby sometimes getting a completely bizarre armor. Also Power armor can be painted in different colors. In what kind of armor your character will walk around the territory of the Commonwealth, it depends only on your imagination.

When the protagonist gets into Power armor, it immediately catches the eye that the display of the game world changes a little, as if we are looking through a helmet put on our heads. The screen displays indicators related to power armor, the most important is an indicator showing how much more energy is in the nuclear unit and a set of power armor is also schematically indicated, each element indicates the state of this part of the armor, they are not eternal and when damaged, the indicator will begin to turn from green to red, indicating the general condition of the power armor. If the elements of the armor are not repaired or changed for a long time, they will completely wear out and disappear.

Power armor in Fallout 4 protects the main character from falling if you step into a radioactive puddle or lake, power armor will take over, and also in such armor, the time spent under water is significantly increased.

Types and parameters of Power armor

In the world of Fallot 4, you can find 5 types of Power armor and basically one type of each of them, except for X-01, this armor has 2 cool modifications and raider armor - it does not have an improved modification. We list the main types of Power armor in Fallout 4 with their characteristics:

  1. Raider Power Armor - this armor is the simplest of those that can be found in the world of Falluot 4, the basic characteristics of the elements of this armor are as follows:
  2. Power armor T-45 - the initial armor of a normal assembly, we do not take into account the armor of the raiders, since there is armor made on the knee, from improvised materials. The power armor of the T-45 is slightly lighter than that of the raiders, and with the same resistance to damage and radiation, the T-45 has more resistance to energy damage, more durability, higher price and the armor itself is lighter. The basic characteristics of the T-45 armor elements are as follows:
  3. Power armor T-51- you can already fight in such armor, the basic characteristics of the T-51 armor elements are as follows:
  4. Power armor T-60 - the first serious armor, in order to possess it, you need level 21, it has serious basic characteristics:
  5. Power Armor X-01 - this is the pinnacle of Commonwealth military engineering, this armor has 2 more modifications that have even better characteristics, but the characteristics of the X-01 are as follows:

Where can I find Power Armor?

Just starting the game, the main character almost immediately receives Power Armor by completing the quest for the Minutemen. But besides this way of Power Armor, in Fallout 4 you can often just find it, go to yourselves through the destroyed world and bam behind the bush, there is Power Armor.

But do not think that you will immediately be able to find the coolest set of armor, unfortunately, the level of power armor that can be found on the territory of the Commonwealth directly depends on the level of the main character. To understand what you can count on, we offer you a list of armor depending on the level of the character:

Name Character level
T-45 1
T-45b 11
T-51 14
T-51b 18
T-60 21
T-60b 25
X-01 28
X-01 Mk II 32
X-01 Mk.III 36

Unique elements of Power Armor

Walking around the territory of the Commonwealth, looking into the most secluded corners and actively interacting with merchants, you can find several unique elements for power armor, it is known for certain that, for example, for the T-51 and T-45 armor, you can find a unique chest plate. Its uniqueness lies in the ability to restore action points under the influence of radiation. If you are interested in such an element of armor, then go to the laboratory called "Cambridge Polymer".

Completing quests for the Brotherhood of Steel often leads to their sale or the issuance of unique elements of Power Armor as a reward, for example, you can get unique parts from the T-60s, this is a seer's helmet and chest plate.

You can also find Tessa's unique fist, which is super durable.

  • Treat your Power Armor with care, do not leave it anywhere, you will be surprised, but it can be “stealed”;
  • Power armor T-60, can only be obtained on the airship of the Brotherhood of Steel and only if the main character joins them;
  • If the armor does not have a helmet, you will still be able to see the interface as if you were wearing a helmet;
  • The map available in Pip-Boy only shows the location of the last wearable set;
  • Companions of the main character can also be dressed in Power armor, for this, being in the orders menu, look at the armor and press the action button. An interesting fact is that the nuclear blocks of satellites have an infinite charge, but the armor elements wear out;
  • If you have destroyed power armor, look at its wreckage, regardless of the model being destroyed, the wreckage looks like a T-60;
  • Painting in a single style gives bonuses;
  • Equipment bonuses do not work while wearing power armor;
  • Using cheat codes for Fallout 4, you can get the T-60 Power Armor, the color of which will be called “Elder of the Brotherhood”. This Power Armor is one of the brotherhood quests cut from the final release.

Known bugs

  • The backpack, which is attached to power armor, sometimes flies by itself, and does not react to the main character in any way;
  • If you attach a jetpack to X-01 Power Armor or T-60, you can notice a jamb associated with the operation of the jetpack, sometimes the animation of the jetpack operation (streams of fire from nozzles) spontaneously appears, at moments when this should not happen.

Description

This armor was designed and manufactured for the United States Army by the leading supplier of security systems, West Tek. This company has developed prototypes of combat exoskeletons before, but the T-45d model turned out to be the first model that fully justified the funds invested in it on the battlefield. In 2067, the first powered suit of the T-45d model was officially used during the operation to liberate the Chinese-occupied city of Anchorage. The armor showed unexpectedly high efficiency against Chinese vehicles and infantry. The ability of a soldier equipped with T-45d power armor to carry equipment and weapons in quantities that would otherwise require a platoon of soldiers to transport has played a key role more than once in the course of local conflicts in Alaska. Protected by this armor, soldiers could easily destroy entire cities occupied by Chinese troops without endangering themselves. In 2076, the more advanced T-51b armor was adopted by the US forces.

This model of power armor is significantly inferior in mobility to the later model T-51b, in part due to the outdated servo design, which leads to a limitation in the movement speed of the owner of the armor. The first T-45ds were powered by power cells, which discharged at an alarming rate when the armor carrier was active. Externally, the T-45d is very similar to the T-51b, however, its armor is based on riveted steel sheets, while the T-51b is based on lighter, softer-shaped plates made of polymer composite materials. The electrical and mechanical parts of the armor are located directly below the armor plates, making the T-45d more susceptible to damage than the T-51b, whose subsystems are protected by an additional soldered casing. In addition, the old model of power armor requires the wearer to wear a special suit for better perception of the wearer's movements by servosensors - the suit already fits the body tightly, and, coupled with heat emissions from the armor's batteries, creates severe discomfort. A special bracket is welded to the chest plate, probably to store armor, or to facilitate the transport of wounded and dead soldiers.

Characteristics

This armor provides excellent protection against damage and increases the wearer's physical strength through a servo. The armor is sealed, so the wearer also receives protection from radiation. Wearing a helmet seals the suit completely, and also reduces the amount of radiation absorbed by the body. The armor itself is very heavy, and outdated models of servos do not allow a person equipped with armor to take full advantage of the agility that nature has bestowed on him - the wearer of the armor suffers a penalty to dexterity.

Location

Abandoned BS bunker (only with the Dead Money add-on connected) - there is a helmet on the table.
Brotherhood of Steel's secret quarters - armor and a helmet can be found on a shelf.
Hidden Valley - Several pieces of armor can be found in the bunker, for example, in the warehouse of the Knight of Torres there are 4 armor and 3 helmets in excellent condition. They can be stolen freely (by first stealing the key to the warehouse from Torres) by moving them with the "Z" key behind the container, where Torres Knight cannot see them. They can also be sold by Torres herself.
Can be obtained as a reward after completing the quests "Blind Eye" or "Don't poke your nose in other people's business."
Hoover Dam - One or two pieces of armor can be sold from Quartermaster Bardon.
The Power Helmet appears on sale at the Smart Home CLM in the Old World Blues add-on.
Sold by the merchant of the Great Khans.
Varieties

Power armor T-45d Brotherhood;
Refurbished NCR Power Armor.
Notes

The symbol of the Brotherhood can be seen on the left shoulder, but this armor is not factional, unlike the T-45d Power Armor of the Brotherhood;
The armor given to the Courier by Elder McNamara or Chief Paladin Hardin upon completion of the Blind Eye or Mind Your Mind quests is regular armor, not factional armor.
Bugs

When a character wearing armor is seated, the shoulder pads of the armor rotate at an odd angle.

Description

Like the T-45d, this armor was designed and manufactured for the United States Army by leading security systems supplier West Tek. In 2076, the T-51b model power armor was adopted by the US Army to replace the obsolete T-45d model by that time. Like its predecessor, the T-51b excelled in combat against Chinese infantry and heavy equipment. The ability of a soldier equipped with power armor to carry equipment and weapons in quantities that would otherwise require a detachment of soldiers to transport has played a key role more than once in the course of local conflicts in Alaska. Protected by this armor, soldiers could easily destroy entire cities occupied by Chinese troops without endangering themselves.

Of course, this armor survived great war, and is still used by some groups post-war world- such as the Brotherhood of Steel. While the Brotherhood of Steel in the Mojave, and west of Nevada, use the updated T-51b model, in more remote regions, such as the Capital Wasteland, the Brotherhood and Outcasts there use the outdated T-45d model.

This model of power armor significantly exceeds the mobility of the previous model T-45d - updated models of servos and hydraulic systems "HiFlo" respond to any movement of the wearer and practically do not limit his movements. The T-51b is powered by a back-mounted TX-28 micronuclear reactor that generates about 60 kilowatts of outgoing power. The outer frame of this armor is made of a lightweight and durable polylaminate composite, and is capable of absorbing up to 2.5 kilojoules of kinetic energy. The outer armor plates are coated with a 10 micron ablative silver coating, which allows laser and plasma radiation to be reflected without harming the electrical and mechanical subsystems of the armor. Model T-51b is equipped with a recycling system that allows you to collect, filter and purify the waste of its carrier, providing it with a certain supply of drinking water. The helmet is equipped with a searchlight, target designator, gas mask system and intercom. The eyepieces of the helmet are made of bulletproof glass, able to protect the wearer from any kind of firearms. As a rule, the armor reactor contains enough active substance to ensure the full functioning of all exoskeleton systems for 100 years.

Characteristics

This armor provides its wearer with better protection than its predecessor, is stronger, and has less weight - all this by replacing the steel frame with a polymer one, and the silver plating makes the armor less vulnerable to attacks from energy weapons. While the T-51b grants its wearer a smaller increase in strength than the T-45d, it does not hinder their movement. Armor also allows you to more effectively resist radiation; a helmet that hermetically closes the armor increases radiation resistance even more. In addition, due to the fame of the Fellowship, or due to the distinctive design of the helmet, a Courier wearing such a helmet gains a bonus to Charisma.

Location

Hidden Valley - one copy can be purchased from the Knight of Torres.
The Brotherhood of Steel's secret quarters - one set can be taken there.
Deathclaw Cape - A dead prospector is wearing this armor.
Courier Mile - in a metal box next to the containers for ammunition and medical supplies (at character level 40 and above). (Lonesome Road)
15th track - in a metal box next to Colonel Roiz (the probability of generation depends on the level of the character).
Varieties

Power armor T-51b Brotherhood.
Notes

The fact that the eyepieces of the helmet are bulletproof is mentioned by the Courier himself in a conversation with Ricky (Honest Hearts)
T-51b Power Armor is non-fractional armor (BS members will not mistake you for their own).
Companions of the Courier can also wear this armor.
This armor has the highest durability among all (excluding add-ons and DLC) types of armor in the game.
The helmet of this particular armor adorns the start menu of the Fallout game.
Bugs

As with the T-45d, this armor's shoulder pads can be oddly twisted when seated.

In Fallout 4, power armor runs on special energy sources: micronuclear batteries, and therefore the player will not be able to use it indefinitely. In addition, to explore the world around the protagonist will still have to get out of power armor. If in Fallout 3 this type of armor was ordinary equipment, then in the fourth part it is a kind of suit. To climb into it, you must first turn the small valve on its back. After that, the armor will open, and the player will be able to climb into it. The suit closes automatically.

Almost all parts of the costume (helmet, torso, sleeves, shoulders, and so on) can be replaced or improved. In this way, you will be able to constantly improve power armor, making it more resistant to various types of damage. If necessary, the suit can be repaired. There are special spare parts for this, but they weigh quite a lot, so you won’t be able to carry them with you all the time. For this reason, we advise you to leave them in stock in your workshop.

Note: If you leave your Power Armor unattended, it will likely be used by the locals or worse, so keep an eye on such valuable gear and don't leave power batteries in your suit.

Raider Power Armor

The most mediocre power armor in Fallout 4. Raiders often walk in it, so you can find it in places where these bloodthirsty criminals live. You can collect parts of this armor directly from the corpses of the raiders. Although, if you do not feel like searching the dead, then you may well find a complete set of armor in one of the caves of the Wasteland.

This cave is located in the southern part of the game world (indicated on the map). There is a small lake nearby. We note in advance that there is very strong radiation in the cave, so we advise you to prepare well, for example, take an antiradin. The armor will be to the left of the entrance.

You can also get a full set of Raider Power Armor at Dunwich Drillers. In this canyon you will find a boss wearing this armor. We kill the villain and take our trophy from his corpse.

Power Armor T-45

The T-45 model will most likely be your very first power armor, as it is the easiest to find, but its protection parameters are far from ideal.

Where to find: You need to go east from Vault 111. In a few minutes you will reach the Robotics Disposal Ground. On the territory of this trash can you will find batteries for power armor and the weapon "Fat Man" (Fat Man). Recall that this gun can fire mini nuclear warheads. Incredibly powerful weapons that must be used with extreme caution, otherwise you can undermine your own character.

Next, you should go southeast to the Satellite Station Olivia (USAF Satellite Station Olivia). There, among the mountains of garbage, you can find a working T-45 power armor. You can also find this suit at the bottom of the lake, located southeast of Vault 111, on the way to the Red Rocket.

Note: the lake is extremely radioactive, so you should not stay in it for a long time.

Power armor pieces (helmet and torso) can also be found near the Irish Pride Industries Shipyard. To get to it, you need to go southeast from the above lake. The armor will be located near the crashed rotorcraft.

Power Armor T-51

The power armor of the T-51 model boasts very high protective characteristics and good mobility. A real gift for any inhabitant of the Wasteland, however, it is quite difficult to get one.

However, we note that if the level of your character is below ten, then in almost all places where T-51 armor should be, you will find only T-45. Thus, it can be assumed that this item is directly tied to the level of the hero. Therefore, it is worth looking for this power armor from the fifteenth level, to be sure.

Where to find: You need to go south from Vault 111 and get to Fort Hagan. To the east of it will be Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates van. Get ready for a fight with a lot of ghouls.

After the battle with the ghouls, you need to hack the terminal, open the safe and take the key from it. This key can open the trailer. It is in it that the T-51 power armor is located.

The main character can also find this set of armor at the Military Checkpoint located in South Boston. The suit is behind a grate opened by a terminal protected by a mid-level lock.

If this is not enough for you, then you should go down to the coast near the Old North Church and find a wrecked rotorcraft there. Next to him will be a cage with armor. To open it, you will have to hack a terminal with a lock of medium difficulty.

Power armor T-60

One of the most advanced and powerful models of power armor in the game. There are two versions of it: basic and advanced. Distinguished from other costumes by the presence of a visual interface in the helmet, showing information about environment(radiation), character health and armor condition.

Parts of the T-60 armor of the first modification (legs, torso and helmet) can be obtained from the head of the Gunners, who is located in the Mass Pike location. It is located to the west of Diamond City. We are looking for a fork in the flyover, located a little west of the Mass Pike tunnel.

The improved T-60b II power armor is given out by the Brotherhood of Steel for completing several quests before the airship arrives.

If you do not want to become a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, then you should go to the Atomic Cat Garage and find a girl named Rowdy there who sells various items. She just sells various elements of the T-60 power armor. However, you can save your caps and just rob the saleswoman at night.

Power Armor X-01

The rarest and most powerful power armor in the game. However, it will take a lot of resources and bottle caps to repair and modify it. But with the help of it you will scatter your enemies like kittens. It is intended for high-level characters, so there is no point in looking for it before your character reaches level forty.

Some players try to get it at level 30, but there is no guarantee that in the place where the X-01 should be there will not be T-60 power armor or worse. In fact, you can get this armor after completing the main storyline(if you decide to take on its implementation at all, and not just walk around the Wasteland and go through secondary quests).

So, this high-tech suit can be found in the Abandoned Shack, located in the southwestern part of the game world. Go inside the building and go down to the basement. You have to fight with a lot of synthetics. However, if you have a good relationship with the Institute, then the Synths will not attack. The Power Armor is located at the bottom of the basement directly under the stairs.

This suit can be found elsewhere. First you should go to the Customs Tower. Then we go west from it and find a large building on which the number 35 is indicated. You should go into it and take the elevator to the roof of the building. Two large robots will roll out at you from both sides. Destroy the iron bobbleheads and then sneak into the rooms they came from. Find the buttons in the rooms and press them. As a result, a third door will open in the center, leading to the room where the X-01 power armor is located. If you go there with a character below level 35, you won't find the armor you need.

Piezo Power Armor

It is a unique Power Armor that cannot be found by conventional methods. First of all, you will need to go to the Cambridge Polymer laboratory. Once inside, we are looking for a room with a computer terminal.

This terminal contains the formula for creating Piezonuclear Power Armor. So, for this we need gold, an isotope of uranium-238, lithium hydride and a little bit of a miracle.

Immediately we begin the search for the materials we need. Fortunately, you won’t have to go far for this, since all the elements are right in the laboratory. By the way, here you can also find an excellent suit for protection against radiation. Be sure to take it - it will come in handy in the future.

Having found all the materials, we again approach the computer terminal and install the uranium-238 isotope in the right receiver. As for unidentified elements, they first need to be identified. You can do this using the terminal. We simply put two elements into the containers located to the left of the system and activate the identification. After finding the necessary resources, we use them in the following order: at the beginning, lithium hydride, and then gold. Now you can start making armor. You can pick up its parts at the point of issue, located to the right of the terminal.

This armor has average protection, but has one interesting bonus - radiation increases the rate of recovery of action points (AP), that is, in places with high radiation, you will fight more effectively in this power armor.
